You might have noticed that Esprezzo has been honing in on its emerging SaaS offerings and making an effort to build a strong brand around its main product, Dispatch. What some people may not know is that a good chunk of this server's community has been with us since the launch of our proof of work EVM chain, Perkle.

Perkle has served as a valuable testbed for some of our more experimental ideas and still has many nodes running in the wild. Most importantly, I'm pretty sure Proof of Work is cool again now that it's retro.

At any rate, in an attempt to better organize these projects, we're moving the Perkle and the bot to a new Discord server meant for ideas that lie outside of Esprezzo's current scope and support structure.

We've got some exciting news to share! 🔔

Our newest Dispatch Trigger, Event Monitor, is live!
Event Monitor is designed to make the lives of Web3 builders easier by keeping internal teams in sync and communities and end users engaged.

Turning any smart contract event into an alert or a trigger for automated workflows with a simple, easy-to-use UI reduces time spent on manual data lookups & building custom tools.

As builders in this space ourselves, and having spoken with and received feedback from many Web3 projects, we know how challenging it can be to build Web3 experiences.

We think Event Monitor makes Dispatch a game changer for those teams looking to streamline everything from product development, inventory planning, and location check-ins, to community management.

With Event Monitor, you can set up real-time, automated alerts for any smart contract events.

A few examples:
⭐ Keep tabs on key gameplay events
⭐ Track NFT life cycle events — mints, transfers redemptions, metadata changes.
⭐ Detect unexpected events (signals for malicious activity)
⭐ ERC-4337 account monitoring
⭐ And much more tailored to your specific project needs

The best part?
You can have all these alerts sent directly to your preferred platforms in a few clicks, including right here on Discord!

Learn more about this exciting new Dispatch update in our launch blog post:

We're eager to hear your feedback, and we can't wait to see how Event Monitor will empower you and your project.

Cheers, The Esprezzo Team

The current plan is to keep Perkle alive and replace PoW Perkle with a PoS chain. The current discussions are mostly around using cosmos-sdk and likely abandoning EVM for CosmWasm. We have been focused on building an indexing and alerting layer and have admittedly neglected Perkle for quite a while. Now that we have made some progress there I intend to pay more attention to what's next for Perkle.
As far as it being sidelined from the website, that has more to do with the PoW chain confusing investors and other users, and us not having a great argument for running a PoS Ethereum fork going forward.

Initial release of UniSpotter for Telegram is live!

UniSpotter lets you know every time a new token pair (liquidity pool) is listed on Uniswap with helpful links to research the new pair.

>> Join the UniSpotter Telegram channel to check it out: https://t.me/UniSpotter <<

We built UniSpotter Bot using Dispatch, our blockchain intel & automation platform announced last month.

UniSpotter is a simple demo showing the possibilities of just a small subset of data you’ll have access to with Dispatch and what can be built with it!

You can acquire(mint) XPZ tokens by sending PRKL to the XPZ Emission/Crowdsale Contract

  Example:
    > !perkle send 0x412b1e91E1F6695a3E4cF8B91993EA2D9E32cF98 1

The current emission contract produces 33 XPZ per 1 PRKL and will expire on 09/21/2020 @ 4:06am (UTC).

A few weeks ago Perkle was added to the networks officially supported by MyEtherWallet!

This means you can now easily use MEW to connect to the Perkle network, view balance & transfer PRKL.

I have been heads down working on our upcoming SaaS platform, and extending our backend to work
with Ethereum Mainnet in addition to our native blockchain Perkle, but the goal of this post is to
provide some clarification on our plans for XPZ. We have been working out the details of ongoing
XPZ emission/crowsale contracts, and multichain (Perkle and Ethereum) staking contracts. This is coming stright from notes and we will be creating a blog post that is easier to read :slight_smile:
#######################
# CROWDSALE EMISSION
We are going to continue our release of XPZ with an ongoing series of mintable crowdsale smart contracts available only on the Perkle blockchain, each decreasing by ~33%.

Details:
1. 100  XPZ per 1 PRKL for ~3 months or until we reach 1 billion // Ending soon
2. 66.6 XPZ per 1 PRKL for ~3 months or until we reach 1 billion // If we reach 1 billion skip steps 3 & 4
3. 43.5 XPZ per 1 PRKL for ~3 months or until we reach 1 billion // If we reach 1 billion skip step 4
4. Going into Q4 the difference of (1 Billion - TotalSupply) will be minted and added to the STAKING DEVELOPMENT POOL.

Example:
  Say we get to step 4 and only 750mm XPZ have been minted.
  We will then mint 250mm and it will be added to the first year staking rewards
  This is ON TOP of the 500mm scheduled for that year and will increase rewards for early stakers foor the first year.

At this time if the token is deemed useful by the community as we intend it too be, it can be traded on DEXes and other Exchanges.

The XPZ Ethereum contract is finished and will be deployed and tested this month.

While initial bridging/chain-hopping will be a simplified exchange done via PerkleBot, the long term goal involves an implementation of an oracle-based cross-chain voting protocol which uses witness/validator nodes that are elected based on staking commitments.

These witness/validator nodes observe transaction receipt logs on "Chain A", do additional queries for validation, then submit their votes (their version of what happened in a swap initiation) to a contract on "Chain B" to prove a cross-chain transfer has been initiated and with what parameters.

It's more complex than this but we will share more details as they are implemented and tested.

The plan is to move this from an initially centralized bot-based swap model to a fully decentralized cross-chain voting model where witness nodes can earn additional XPZ by voting in good faith as determined by consensus of stakeholders.

We are still discussing this internally; it should be considered a "skunkworks" project that will evolve over time. As always, we welcome your feedback and ideas.

Our team is currently focused on bringing our consumer-focused SaaS product to market that will bring more awareness to Esprezzo and Perkle while exploring this idea. The SaaS product has evolved quite a bit since our previous product previews and we're excited to share more on that soon!

We have deployed a second on-demand "mintable crowdsale" XPZ contract with a static rate of 66 XPZ per 1 PRKL.

A participant receives 66 XPZ per 1 PRKL sent to the contract address 0x85Bbc68B391f20eA50F7AbD9bEb9063E5d3EC7dA.

You can view the current supply by typing the following command in our Discord channel using PerkleBot: !token XPZ

The token contract itself has a hard cap of 10 billion (10,000,000,000) forever.

The target emission for 2020 is 1 billion.

The emission cap for this specific contract/tranche is as follows.

let target_emission_2020 = 10 ** 9; // 1 bil
let xpz_supply_before_stage_2 = 446871806; // minted in stage 1 sale;
let remaining_cap_going_into_stage_2 = target_emission_2020 - xpz_supply_before_stage_2; //
assert remaining_cap_going_into_stage_2 == 553128194;

// cap in stage 2 crowdsale contract
const saleCap = toAtomic(new BN(553128194)); // where toAtomic = fn x -> x * (10 ** 18) end) // convert from XPZ to atomic units

The current contract/rate ends on 08/04/2020 @ 9:28pm (UTC) or when 1 Billion (1,000,000,000) XPZ have been minted. soon!

Why is there so little description of your platform?
you can read more information in their discord

Why is there so little description of your platform? In my opinion, the technology is promising, but may not gain sufficient development, as developers are in no hurry to share their plans with the community. Developers need to actively devote to their plans a community that will grow and develop from the abundance of information. Now with information about the project is completely foggy.

The explorer has the opportunity to view tokens https://explorer.esprezzo.io/. The XPZ token is cross-platform and will later be deployed on other blockchain chains. You can also join the Perkle community at https://discord.gg/fS96du where you can ask all the interesting questions on the general channel.

10 million PRKL have been mined as of today. This is still a very low supply as there was no premine or instamine at all. We have also released a cross chain ERC20 token called XPZ which is only mintable using PRKL and will be bridged to Ethereum later this year!

We've begun the process of upgrading the Perkle network and protocol. As mentioned last week in our Discord server, this is a planned hard fork to enable several important new features, patches and performance improvements.

At block 3,100,000 the old clients will become incompatible with the canonical chain. We have asked STEX to pause deposits/withdrawals and pool owners should upgrade as soon as possible. This is the best way to stay compatible and to avoid mining blocks that are destined to become orphans.
