If it's not a secret, then why do my several antiviruses(kaspersky and norton) at once that you have a trojan in a new wallet? Version v1.0.2.0.
Checking exe file also gives information that there is a trojan.
https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/f30e0d259a8f9e003f886ddaa459051d7aa2df1d977a0f79a404f869e48ae14a/detection

It's a false positive. Many crypto wallets likewise will turn up one or two false positives on Virus Total.

Hi RedenBlack13

Veil aims to be a top privacy transactional cryptocurrency. When used properly, you can transact without leaving behind any blockchain data that can be used to track your purchases, trades, and other activities.

We hope to improve the value of Veil by making it a good medium of exchange and long-term asset with staking rewards.

Thank you very much for your answer. If I have understand correctly the usage of your tokens allow people to achieve anonimity. I will read the whipepaper for further info, but the project overall sounds interesting.

STEX is a great exchange, congratulations for the team on the addition!

I think you may be able to use both but only with bv1 will be possibly to verify the amount on the blockchain
cananybody of the team confirm that?
I used STEX without issues with their services and supports.
The STEX is the rebranded one, the former one is something I did not remember for now (sorry).
After the rebrand process, the exchange also got upgrades in user interface and other things.
It has become better so far, so it is a good exchange for VEIL to be there.

Hey Reden, welcome! Smiley

There is no ICO. Veil uses a PoW/PoS hybrid consensus system, so you can earn veil by mining and staking, and like you mentioned by joining our recently launched bounty program.

Hi! Thanks for the answer! What about the business model? Which will be the usage of the tokens? In which way tokens will increase their value in time? Thanks!

There's no need to be upset

Stex is a normal exchange, I have been using it for a long time. So if I buy a Veil there, what should I withdraw to the address that starts with bv1? And how many coins are needed for staking?

Bv1 are transparent addresses, while sv1 anonymizes the receiver. I guess you can use either address to receive your funds.

You might be asking how an announcement thread like this would get merited by most of the people around here, the most biggest one is 50.

They could be team members or believers of the project. Presstab is one of devs i reckon.

How does it work? There will be an ICO or the only way to earn token are mining and bounty? It is not clear to me also the business model. Which is the token use case? Thanks!

It's a coin, and privacy seems to be its use case, regarding business model, nodes would earn by staking.

Or you can buy at the 7 exchanges that Veil is already traded.Plus the OTC server on discord.
