I have intention to split my coins into different chunks in order to maximize the staking rewards.
Therefore, I need your help, who actually applied spliting coins in wallet into chunks.
Which kind of figures I should set to split my coins?
I meant the stakesplitthreshold parameter.

Proof of Review has now published its Veil review!

The Proof of Review analysis is designed to verify and validate PoW projects, providing a layer of security for PoW miners who choose to contribute their hash power, time, and money to crypto projects.

Wallet is not synchronized to the end. It stops at 23k-25k blocks. I tried many times, resync, clean install, always stop at 23k-25k blocks with this error in debug.log "Potential stale tip detected, will try using extra outbound peer".

Try to synch with the help of the snapshots.

I see the total coins will be 300,000,000 eventually?  Rarity is better like around 20,000,000..... or even much less ( less than 2,000,000 ) as in another privacy coin that I like....

That privacy coin friendly exchange TXBIT.io is amazing and the Veil team should try to list their coin on it.

All that really matters is a marketcap. Rarity attracts people yeah, but so does the psychology of newbs wanting to buy "cheap" coins with hue total supply Smiley.

Aside from that, cheap coins with huge supply and no real applications in the market will be very easy to eat the dust of crypto. They need to get as many users on board as they can and be a loyal user of this coin.

Thanks for the suggestion! We will be sure to look into that exchange.

About the maximum coin supply, after PoW ends, most of the coin emission will be going back to coin holders and budget to improve the project. Because of this the coin supply increasing will not directly devalue holdings like pure PoW inflation would, and people are incentivized to support the PoS network to earn a large % of that 300m emission over 18-20 years.

FUDs, nothing more relates to scam accusation on PIVX.
PIVX is a good project, that has been there for years.
If the PIVX want to make exit-scam, they should to that last year, when crypto market and PIVX blossomed, not now, when all have fallen to bottoms.
PIVX is not a scam. Smiley There is simply an overlap of some team members between PIVX and Veil. Development is intended to continue for both projects.

By the way, you should try avoiding pyramid quotes for your next posts

PIVX is a scam project, if it is true, it will be a big shock to me, honestly.
I have never imagined that the PIVX project is a scam one.

It's a big news, it was never announced publicly (not everyone has the time to watch every discord thread), why not add the upgrade to pivx rather than create another chain? Wasn't pivx already a great achievement (TOP 100 on CMC) and now the question about  trust...

and it's about the spirit... I just look at this new project coin distribution... I mean... but if you don't see the problem, what can I say...  Full faith and credit. now it's half / half.

Myself I am very sad. I expected better (and too much) from the pivx team (I hope they don't use the pivx various funds for that at least).

Good luck with your new project(s).
Thank you for clarifying, and I'm sorry for any distress this has caused you.

There is no scam. Veil and PIVX are completely separate projects and both are intending to continue development separately.

There is no overlap of funding. Veil funding stays with Veil, PIVX funding stays with PIVX.

Veil was founded with a different focus which is always-on privacy and the goal of pushing the boundaries of privacy tech and research. That's not to say that PIVX can't have similar goals, but PIVX is a decentralized autonomous organization, and so it falls upon the PIVX network to decide and vote on these goals.

thanks for your kind words, PRIVATE INSTANT VERIFIED TRANSACTIONS... that's what we aimed I believed... including the always-on privacy features... like moving from pow to pos to zero... following tech advances...

look here it has moved to 17.1 bitcoin core, while pivx is stuck in the past... my 2 cents is that it's too much to have to develop two chains from a technology / conflicting interests and from a market trust perspective.

most pivx clones have already released pos corrections...

Good luck in your endeavors.
From what I understand, PIVX puts optional privacy first, which is not the same as Veil's current goal of putting always-on privacy at the forefront.

Thank you as well for the feedback and the well-wishes. Smiley

Hey B1tUnl0ck3r. It was never a secret those three people you listed above are involved in both PIVX and Veil. What do you need explained?

Despite the fact its a new project for some reason you keep mixing it with PIVX just because they had/work(ed) that project as well?
The 50-50 block reward and distribution were known from start.
Then you make a statement/assumption that they might use the pivx funds for a project that is getting funded already from the block reward of its own project.
Clear your thoughts and elaborate please.

But why I see them? In settings it is marked "Hide orphans". And why after reinstall everything works fine for a few days, and then again only the orphans go? I have saved debug.log from previous installation. Can it give you some information?
You're not the only one experiencing this problem, everyone is seeing orphans. It seems like the Hide Orphans feature simply isn't working currently. We will let the developers know about this if they aren't aware of it already.

Can you explain me, how i can send my zerocoin back to my basecoin to mint them again, please ?

Something like this ? :

spendzerocoin false true 42

Thanks
Yes, that command is correct for spending zerocoin. Smiley Put in a basecoin address if you would like them to be spent to basecoin, put in a stealth address if you would like to spend them in CT (not recommended for 1.0.1.4 because some people are having issues, but up to you). You can also specify an additional argument at the end if you want to specify what zerocoin denomination to spend from, i.e. spendzerocoin 100 false true 42 bv1...asd 1000 will spend 100 back to basecoin from your 1x1000 zerocoin denomination and return the change as RingCT.

Increased orphan stakes can be due to some factors, one of them being how old your denominations are. One solution that may help reduce the orphan stakes is by reminting your zerocoin - you need to spend zerocoin back to either basecoin or CT (currently I would recommend basecoin) and mint them again.

If you encounter some errors with your wallet, please let us know so we can try and help.
