Your wallet should stake as long as you have it unlocked. XAP has recently gone through a coin swap. You need to make sure you have the newest wallet (v2.0.1). Go XAP's discord and you can find everything you need if you have not already done the coin swap.

Hi,

I have about 1400 coins since 10th Jun.  They have more than 11400 confirmations.
The wallet is online constantly.

But the coins are not staked never.

Is it normal?
Why my wallet does not staking?

You guys continue to overcome challenges very well. Great job with the coin swap & getting past block 5K. I can't wait to start earning again!

I believe the feature is still there but I don't know how to enable it with the updated wallet. Try contacting the support team in their Discord channel and I'm quite sure that they will be able to help you on that.

By the way, the swap went smoothly from my side and I received my coins (with the additional reward) in about 15 minutes without any issue. Must say that this is one of the swaps the I experienced with no hiccups along the process.

I downloaded the XAP wallet from the apollon.one website today and deposited some XAP from my Cryptobridge account, does anyone know if these are the swapped coins ?

I also have XAP on Coinexchange but withdrawals are halted for now, is it correct to assume that coinexchange will swap these coins for me ?

I might have missed it, but has there been a communication on the exploit or whatever, in the sense of what it means to users, can our coins get blacklisted, what about coins we transferred in a certain time frame?

Can't say I am super stoked by the chain security issues or the slashing of the mn rewards to near zero.

5 may 2018 i had over 110k XAP  now witch new wallet is "0" so where are my coins?

Further to our updates yesterday we would like to bring you all up to speed on the latest position regarding the coinswap and the steps we are taking to protect the long-term coinholder value.

Now that the chain appears to be reasonably stable we have decided to release the new wallet to the exchanges.

The exchanges now have the new wallets and are progressing their updates.

We have asked each exchange to provide a timescale to update the wallets but please bear in mind that this can take up to seven days to complete – of course we will be working with them to improve on timescales wherever possible.

Once each exchange has completed their updates we will agree a date with them for opening withdrawals ONLY. This is to ensure those bad actors holding exploited coins cannot send them to the exchange and sell them on.

As a final update we would like to assure you all that we are making good progress on the new wallets and we hope to be in a position soon to give more information regarding the coinswap steps and estimated timescales.

TL;DR for everything that happend to our blockchain over the past few days:
- Mandatory wallet update 1.0.5 to fix exploits at Block 155,000 that resulted in a hard fork
- Chain stuck due to retargeting issues
- Identified further exploits that are still being abused
- Decision to do a coin swap with a completely new wallet on a properly secured and tested codebase
- Mandatory wallet update to 1.0.6 which will result in a hard fork at block 157,000 that will be used until the coinswap is processed

As you are all now aware we are forking to a new chain at block 157k. At the time of writing we are at block 156978 so the fork is coming soon.

I would like to bring your attention to the reduction in rewards once we hit block 157k. We announced this yesterday but feel it is worth mentioning again.

Once we hit 157k the block rewards will reduce to 1 per block. We have taken this step to prevent the bad actors on our chain from benefitting any further as we move towards the swap.

We are working on a plan to mitigate this impact to our genuine coin holders and we are expecting to provide further details in the coming days.

Once the fork is complete and we are sure the chain is stable we will work with the exchanges to update their wallets and open withdrawals. Unfortunately we cannot provide an accurate timescale for when this will be completed as the exchanges will process our requests as soon as they are able depending upon their workload – we will endeavour to keep you all updated however as this progresses.

As always all of our efforts are to benefit the community and to protect the long-term coinholder value and it is for this reason that we are taking these actions

However as we continue to focus on the coinswap we are keen to ensure that we respond to our communities questions and concerns in a speedy and comprehensive fashion.

We are mindful that some questions asked by our community may be missed by the team whilst we are busy and focussed on fixing the issues and preparing for the upcoming coinswap.

To that end we have made a decision to appoint some of our community to act as FAQ representatives.

These representatives will gather all your questions raised over the day and collate them for the team to assess and respond to in a timely fashion.

Apollon is honoured to be attending Metabridge (metabridge.com) in Kelowna, BC from June 6th to the 8th.  Metabridge is an invite only conference to connect executives on investments & partnerships. 

Rest assured our dev team is back home, hard at work on the XAP blockchain while we're attending, wish us luck!

As you are all aware the team are at present investigating the current issue with the chain being stuck on block 155290.

We are working our way to a resolution of this issue but whilst we do it is important we protect the community from inadvertently losing any of their coins.

In addition to this we are also anticipating a further updated wallet release to fix the current issue.

Therefore as a result of this, and to protect our community, we have asked Crypto-bridge, Coin Exchange and Graviex to keep deposits and withdrawals closed for the time being.

Once we have a fix we will release the wallet to the community and following a short period, once we confirm the chain is operating as expected, we will work with the exchanges to open deposits and withdrawals ASAP.

We would like to thank you all for your forbearance and patience whilst we resolve this issue.
