I'm having the eu server as default. Just to be 100% sure, if I use "--failover-only -o stratum+tcp://middlecoin.com:3333" (etc), will that failover to the us server automatically in case eu goes down? Is that the right parameter?

Does anyone have a week of 2 worth of historical JSON data for the pool? In any usable format? I want to run a few statistical analyses on it.

Please PM me or reply here.

The pool should be running smoothly now, but the database has a lot of catching up to do. Could be hours before another stats update.

Of course is doesn't have to be that user per say, anybody could have used his address and other addresses on the list to disguise themself.. but those spikes are in exact accordance with the time of the ddos.. and they are not simply rejects due to de ddos... as rejects are typically a percentage of the persons total hash rate, not ten to twenty times higher than the persons hash rate like is exhibited in the charts.

I was only able to find three other addresses that seem to have been used:

http://www.middlecoin.com/reports/1GadD7nhBr4b2jAfmZCbzvGMnexLdZCb6e.html
http://www.middlecoin.com/reports/1QABREeywTMZEGCwRocBdPn37WddpxDAhC.html
http://www.middlecoin.com/reports/1CEBenDeCgM4YA8fqVMHrPNyK3CQUVyH6p.html

In any case you are probably right that the real owners of those addresses didn't actually perform the attack, but their addresses were merely pawns..

So yes I do apologize, I shouldn't have used the words "that person", but instead simply stated that somebody used these addresses to perform the attack...

Just in case anybody was wondering who DDOS'd the pool check this out:

http://www.middlecoin.com/reports/18YXY35z1HgMoKqBFgiShGuqnhR7zdwwC6.html

This person was the source of the giant spikes of unaccepted shares which caused the problem...

Sounds like random bullshit accusations to me...what is your proof?

The fact that H2o has said so on the middlecoin twitter?

Yawn...dont see it...like I said, where is your proof?  Sounds like bullshit to me...the twitter feed says nothing about that guy...feed me more bullshit bro

That Address is MiMiMiners... And h2o didnt say Mimiminer was the culprit, merely they picked his address out and appeared to come across as from him. Im sure its in MiMiMiners best interest not to DDos Middlecoin, he has 150mhs mining there!! It was just some prick who decided to use MimiMiners address, just plucked it out of the list. Hell, he is 2nd on the list last time i checked!

For real? Shocked

I am sure h2o can find out by checking the IP adresses?

So is the consensus EU is the best server to mine on?

I am going by Shares/min on my CGwatcher and on my 1.6MH/s Rig it hovers around 2.4 - 3 per min.

You'll mine the same coins on Eu server.

To know if it's better for you try to ping and traceroute the 4 servers.

A lot of people were having ~GH/s rejects during the DDoS-Events. And by the way, to say "this person caused it" is just nonsense, I could fuck around with the stratums with whatever username I want to and it will appear on that stats page.

I depends on where in the world you are. You should select the server closest to you to minimize ping.

O. Why are you so sure about that? There are more people (a lot) with that problem.

Just follow the twitter. H2O sorted it, but it needs some time to catch back up. It will be solved soon.
