1000khash was just a example, I calculated my 2900khash & I'm getting about 50% of what others with 2900khash are getting.

Not sure if it's beacause my R9 290 has Thread concurrency: 27000, 29000, 29000. I: 20, 20, 20. -g 1 1 1.?
The above is what I have in cgminer, I think I read somewhere that these altcoins need lower values compared to litecoin?
should I put  Thread concurrency to 8192 and I 13, -g 2?

I think those stats are cumulative? Therefore there are large differences on last hour hash rate and paid BTC.

I just want to put a kibosh on those who are complaining or about to. People, we've had an incredible run these past few days, let's give kudos to H2O, he did an amazing job. The "low" payout today is the NORMAL. I have about 4 MHs and I remember getting 0.002 to 0.02 in November, on daily basis.

Get used to it, spoiled bratz!

PS: If you just joined the pool today or yesterday, my apologies.

Hey James,

I can only really speak for myself... and maybe a couple others.  But my general feeling is that were not complaining, but concerned more than anything... and I think that's based on lack of experience/knowledge on what's going on.  While I don't understand the in-depth technical side of middlecoin and scrypt currencies, I can appreciate exchange rates and outcomes.  Yes... we'll have good days and bad days.  Completely understandable!  Where I'm having a disconnect and/or lack of understanding is that my miners had been going strong for 12+hours with no change to my immature/unexchanged balances.  Regardless of how bad the exchanges are, shouldn't there be a slight change?

As mentioned before, I appreciate Middlecoin and what it has to offer!  Props to H20!  But I will agree with other members... and not that its required because I do enjoy Middlecoins simplicity... but it would be very beneficial and informative to know which currencies are being mined (unless I'm in the dark and you can be shown).  This may shed some light on the less educated (includes myself) and quick to judge people.

Only my 2 cents. Smiley

I was also got paid about 40% of the normal amount on 2 miners (2 addresses) :/

Did you compare youre payout to other user's payout with similar hashrates?
I seem to be getting 50% compared to other users with similar hashrate  Lips sealed

I have 2 rigs with 2gpu's each (so 4gpu's total), I have everything to 1 bitcoin adress (1username).
Is it better have 2 addresses/usernames?

Values fluctuate constantly and some currencies can take days to mature and exchange.  It seems like people are putting way to  much focus on trying to tie hash rate to daily performance. Point your miner at the pool and see what you average for a week or two.  I've generally noticed that if my payout is low one day it gets made up for with a great day at some point.  Another good thing to remember is that past performance is no guarantee of future performance.  heh..

Chad

But shouldnt everyone's bitcoin payout be relative?

So if someone has 1000khash and they get 0,01btc on 21dec 2:30am, then if another user has 3000khash he should get 0,03btc on 21dec 2:30am?

stales/rejects, latency, and which version of CGminer you're using can affect that a lot.  1000 Khash doesn't produce work at a static rate.

From the graph on the site we can see that trades have occurred steadily during the day as previously it was more or less one trade session a day.(just look at blue "curtain curve" and points where red one spiked previously)

As far as I see, everyone got low payout for the last 24+ hours..   but what caused it ?

downtime plus overall drop in alt currency value across the board.  Yes doge isn't as profitable as it was, but nothing is

Clearly manager also hedges the trading in this pool. So some coins will stand waiting for "trade maturity" or better rates. Of course time to time strategy might fail. I am planning on testing this pool at least for a week before I know anything.

H2O, you should communicate over the EU server (first post of this topic and middlecoin.com)
I've been mining since september and just noticed there was a EU server online for few days yesterday.

Site seems fine to me - just not so great on altcoin prices right now, no fault of the pool.

6.981MH/s, 24 hours = .0685 payout, another .0435 unexchanged (some carried over from yesterday, IDK how much), and .012 on my backup pool, for a total of .124.  If you only got .06 for a constant 24hours of 10MH/sec, there's something wrong with your setup.
Yeah... @ 2:34:23 local time, I have the latest payout registered in Python MC-watcher. .016565 carryover.
3:53:10 local time, .019439 unpaid. So... ~1h20m time for 0.002874. So.... 75% of that = per hour rate... 0.051732/24h on 2.6MH/s. 7/2.6=2.923. 2.923*.051732=BTC0.13928, so we're right about on target with each other. We're actually closer... Have tweaked settings more and pushed to ~2.8MH/s, with an anomalous MC report of >3MH/s atm.

(Python MC-watcher is awesome, btw - easy to modify... have a super-tiny window which removed all the data I wasn't interested in for something super-concise... will donate when I no longer owe ~$1m in BTC... maybe in a decade or two. Smiley)

with 2.9Mhash I was paid out 0.015btc you had 0,0685btc paid out this last time?
Something is wrong with my setup then?
2,9/6,981*0,0685= 0,028btc, with 2.9Mhash I should get 0,028btc, instead I got 0,015btc.

0,015/0,028= 53%, I'm loosing 47% of my expected bitcoins  Shocked

HW errors 0, stale low %.

h20 may want to fix the coin switching algorithm. Right now we're mining Dogecoin when its on 10:th place on CoinWarz, why aren't we mining the 9 others with far higher earnings?

we should start mining tagcoin I think, much more profits

Given the recent returns we've been having, I think it's safe to say H20 has it handled.

Also given the amount of DOGE he can consistently supply he might have made a private contract with somebody to lock in a favorable price at the time. This might explain the manual trades he did recently and why the exchanges weren't getting flooded with DOGE on a regular basis.

Eg: A speculator agrees to buy DOGE on a daily basis for the next 4 weeks at a "locked in" price. The risk for the speculator is if the price of DOGE tanks he is still obligated to continue purchasing at the agreed price. Of course it could go the other way which is what the speculator would be hoping - that the price goes up but he has a locked in supply at a cheap price. Kinda like stock options.

But I'm just guessing here... I'll leave it to H2o to decide what coin to mine and trade, he has a proven track record to date and pays out daily so I'm happy.  Grin

Just add it to your cgminer.conf, like this:

"pools" : [
   {
      "url" : "stratum+tcp://middlecoin.com:3333",
      "user" : "1E5PLsiUEzGqfLoLx5d1xpHF79jETTZcws",
      "pass" : "x"
   },
   {
      "url" : "stratum+tcp://eu.middlecoin.com:3333",
      "user" : "1E5PLsiUEzGqfLoLx5d1xpHF79jETTZcws",
      "pass" : "y"
   }
]

You can add as many as you want.

You can also do stuff like auto-balance (mines all pools simultaneously), or failover-only, which starts at the top of your list and works its way down as servers fail.  Google for cgminer.conf options and you'll get more details if you need it.

Is it possible to do this without editing the .conf file? I wouldn't want to bother doing that. Would I have to change the startup command if I did edit the .conf file?
If you are using .bat to start it this is what i use, with backup pool...

timeout /t 30
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://eu.middlecoin.com:3333 -u 1NhQX7r3BsPbMgiAaVnTgvs5W2fvQSgKa5 -p wooooo --failover-only -o stratum+tcp://middlecoin.com:3333 -u 1NhQX7r3BsPbMgiAaVnTgvs5W2fvQSgKa5 -p wooooo -o stratum+tcp://middlecoin.com:8080 -u 1NhQX7r3BsPbMgiAaVnTgvs5W2fvQSgKa5 -p wooooo --intensity 13,13,13,13 -g 2 --auto-fan --thread-concurrency 8192 --worksize 256 --shaders 4096 --gpu-engine 1015,1030,800,1030 --gpu-vddc 1.06 --temp-cutoff 95 --temp-target 82 --temp-overheat 90

I have I20 and thread concurrency over 20 000 with -g 1, maybe that's the reason my R9 290 and 7950 are giving me 50% payout compared to other users on middlecoin?
when on litecoin pool seems like I got better results.
I have 0 HW and low % stale in cgminer.

Yeah this python watcher prog is nice, if this pool stays up I'll be leaving it up. I can make some basic changes and alterations, but who knows how to make it do something cool like output to a usb screen?
