Is it normal for a rig that has been mining for about 35 hours? I feel its a bit low when dogecoin gives you 40 $.

Date: 2013-12-21 06:16:39
Hashrate:   1.5 MH/s
Rejected:   0.0%
Total paid:   18.21 mBTC = 12.51 USD
Exchanged:   2.00 mBTC = 1.37 USD
To be paid:   17.84 mBTC = 12.25 USD

edit: according to http://middlecoin.com/reports/12H4mX2JoPUFkTTbWHadDkCfs9CrETkpnD.html the hashrate has dropped a lot on friday because of using remote control software which I think use a lot of GPU power. Smiley

Has there been a payout in the last 15 hours? Cant see anythimg in my wallet though.
my workers are only at 0.004 btc right now. I should have more on them with my 480 khash per worker.
There was a payout ~4.5 hours ago.

Saw a payout was made this evening but I wasn't apart of it, both the addresses above and below me were?  Also my balance went from like 0.012 to .006...  Very happy with this pool and not complaining but there seems to be an issue here.
What's the BTC address you used for the pool? I searched for your donation one, however, didn't find anything :/

no, thats an old, my payout address is 18FL8W4ZUQVJJFNtEm7J3kJJSmjBD8NCVX

Cheesy Just realized OP is going to be clearing $20k/mo in fees pretty soon. Congrats, guy - you've earned it. Cheesy

(Once you start clearing $100k/mo, though, it'd be nice if the fees halved - just so it doesn't become too easy for you. Tongue )

ETA: Going by last few days - if status quo is maintained, ~$85k/mo. (if he's bullish and holds, probably double+ that)

I bet even H2O didn't think the pool would grow this quickly :-P  Don't forget that if he's clearing 100k then the pool is making 9.7 million a month... that's pretty impressive revenue for a bunch of guys (and gals?) with computers solving math problems haha

The average "Joe" with 10MH/s would be making $5,500 or so assuming profitability of the past few days (10k if BTC went back up to $1200 haha)... It's not 100k, but most of us would take it as side income :] The problem becomes heat once you have more than a few rigs running... you're dealing with thousands of watts of energy/heat to get rid of.

The flaw here is the insane profitability of DOGE isn't something that's easy to replicate :[ It's easy to predict best case, however, if BTC were to tank (making most alts unprofitable to mine), you'd see pools everywhere lose GH's within a few hours.

Honestly, the system works perfectly fine. This is still the best pool I have mined at, I get pretty damn consistent payouts and would rather have that than a "nicer website". You can see if your miner is inactive and you can see if it's working properly. Simple and effective is much better than complex and more downtime.

Entirely agree

Checking what your hashrate is every 5 seconds is useless, most of the time the websites will not even report the correct one. You have accepted hashrates in the last hour, it's enough.

By realtime I meant the last hour average, updated every 10 or 20 minutes. Updating any faster than that is pretty pointless. We were discussing how the server frontend stalls sometimes and does not update the reported hashrate for 2 to 4 hours, which in my opinion is rather annoying. Nothing that would make me use a different pool, but certainly something that could be fixed fairly easily even without adding lots of server power.

Ok, I'd agree that it's better if h2o will do what no one else can do so well. We have json data updated periodically, and everything can be done using that.

May be, considering the returns, h2o could hire someone to make a modern website
you can't be serious, right?  this site looks awesome: don't change a thing.

If modern site = longer page load time, than no thanks, I'm good. Keeping the announcements up to date really shouldn't be that hard, but whatever - it's probably not something that's the biggest issue during 100%/day growth periods. Things will get a lot less interesting pretty soon.

Archiving the thousands of inactive addresses would reduce server load and make things easier on everyone. That should be done real soon.
having everything on the page makes it simple to add all the columns up.  All the data is in one place, not hidden in in the back office.  Anybody can reconcile the ledger to their satisfaction.  This type of transparency is refreshing.

what would reduce the server load the most is if people would stop obsessively F5 F5 F5 F5 to see small numbers change every few minutes.

I think most here would agree that seeing realtime server side reported hashrates is a pretty important function of the website. Right now there is no way of doing that without loading every single users data.

Having everyones data in one place is nice, and im not suggesting he make it inaccessible, but getting 5 numbers from the server should not require pulling the other 20,000.

Is there anyway to merge those

I have a backlog of people who need to have accounts merged. I'll do it within a couple of weeks. Anyone who messaged me with similar issues, I haven't forgotten you.

h2odysee,

I made a typo in my payout address yesterday(12/19) when I moved to your pool.

1DL8FY3MYDbk2GjtSgFWeg6gZp4Q8GHvkX is my correct address
1DL8FY3MYDbk2GjtSgFWeg6gZp4QGHvkX is missing the 8 near the end..  This one has about .05 sitting on it that won't be able to be paid out.

Is there anyway to merge those and get the address with the error sent to the correct address?

I'm really sorry, it was a dumb mistake, and I would appreciate any help that you can give me.

Thanks a bunch, and sorry for the trouble.

Just remember the payout for yesterday happened around 12 hours late, presumably because of the cryptsy issues.

We're still in amazingly great times, just slightly less great than the last few days. If you'd offered me the current profitability a week ago, I'd have fallen over myself to accept, as would anyone.

I fully agree. I am curious, will the payout keep the 24 hrs interval, and thus happen again tomorrow morning, or will this be a short day and happen at UTC 2:30 as before?
payout just happened so i guess that answers the question

Also lottocoin just went to coinedup, anyone think we can do it again? lol

I'm all for it, time to mine scratch cards and hopefully a few jackpots...
