May be, considering the returns, h2o could hire someone to make a modern website
you can't be serious, right?  this site looks awesome: don't change a thing.

If modern site = longer page load time, than no thanks, I'm good. Keeping the announcements up to date really shouldn't be that hard, but whatever - it's probably not something that's the biggest issue during 100%/day growth periods. Things will get a lot less interesting pretty soon.

Archiving the thousands of inactive addresses would reduce server load and make things easier on everyone. That should be done real soon.

Pardon me for I'm new to the pool - part of the oncoming 'feasters'.

Wouldn't the famine cycle be 'normal' LTC mining converting to BTC?  At which point the only disadvantage is the high fee.

No, this mines multiple scrypt coins and converts them to BTC. It mines whatever is more profitable, so it should net more than what you would get from LTC mining.

I'm new to it but not an idiot Smiley.  I get that.

I am saying - in the "famine" cycle that jamesc760 is referring to.

Mining scrypt under the assumption you're running GPUs (safe assumption) would mean that the current 'baseline' for mining profitability is LTC.  Therefore, worst case scenario you're making LTC mining rates/MH - 3.4% OR more if there is a more profitable alt.

After the insane payouts of the last few days, I think many new comers will be unsatisfied with the NORMAL payouts going forward. I've been on middlecoin for a few months now and I know that the pool goes through a feast and famine cycles. We are/were in the feast cycle and I fear a famine cycle is coming.

According to the script my total unpaid is only 13.60 USD for almost 24 hours of mining with 1400-1500 kh/s. Isnt it pretty low?  I dont know how accurate these numbers are in the chart and how often they update but compared with a profit $43.35  for dogecoin I'm not satisfied yet.

It also says "Shares last h: 138" while in cgminer it says "accepted: 34000". Is it diffrent things?

I smell some server gremlins on cryptsys side. Their managing of transfers just isnt acting as one would assume, even for broken code.

Just wth is the server monkeys doing. One of the doge transfers just went into my account.  But it wasnt the first transfer, or the last one. but the second one i did (i sent 4).

And ofc one of the smaller ones as its only 800 doge out of 14000

Yeah, that also has been mentioned quite a few times... sometimes two or three posts on the same page... *head hits table*

Website text hasn't been updated in ages.... the post we've quoted a few times on this page alone was only posted a few days ago...

Personally, I'd prefer if H2odysee continue to focus on getting us good returns/exchanges/MONEYMONEYMONEYTOTHEMOON!!! than update his ancient website.  He's been doing a great job with that so far... But i guess that's just me... Wink

May be, considering the returns, h2o could hire someone to make a modern website (create a middlecoin inc., etc)?

middlecoin is excellent and fantastic like it is now. I love it

curious how much btc you get per day with around 3 MH/s? (estimate)

if you make 24/24,  3MH/s continuous mining on middlecoin, you can earn around 0.1 BTC/day considering last 5-6 days profitability rate

just take a look at this constant 3MH/s account http://middlecoin.com/reports/1Mu3G1vn7kFmsWiurDH9DJyMatx5Una62S.html

For today's payout, I only paid out people above >0.01 BTC. In the future, I'll make it so that you will get paid either if you have >0.01 BTC, or if you haven't been paid in 7 days and have 0.001 BTC.

He might wanna update the website instead, still says 0.001 there.

Agreed the website should be updated, but h2o has real-world problems like unloading $100,000+ worth of DOGE every day.

Im the only one who hasnt got paid I guess.    Its had a balance over the minimum for two days now
Should I bother mining?

Looks like you can average about 500 kH/s. If you pointed that at middlecoin fulltime you would earn a lot more than 0.002 BTC...

This is from the website "Payouts are automatic, and occur once a day, if your balance is greater than 0.001 BTC."
