Founding of Indonesian Blockchain Association
Pundi X is humbled to take part in founding the Indonesian Blockchain Association.
Jakarta — On 21 Dec 2017, an initial meeting to establish the Indonesian Blockchain Association was held, hosted by Steven Suhadi. Pundi X was represented by its president Constantin Papadimitriou. Others in attendance include: Oscar Darmawan of bitcoin.co.id & tokenomy.com, Yos Ginting of KADIN and representative from Blockchain Zoo. Several additional parties have been identified to be invited at the next meeting as founding members to establish the association.
The mission of the association is to promote positive and healthy adoption of blockchain in Indonesia. Primary activities are to promote education, safe & clear regulations and commercialization. The association plans to work with relevant parties such as financial regulators (BI, OJK, PPATK), KADIN, related ministries, fintech association and law enforcements.
The Indonesian Blockchain Association, like its ACCESS Blockchain Association counterparts in other countries, will include a cryptocurrency working group.

A crypto connection between Consumers and Seller is enabled with Pundi X. Many stores that are doing business today can sell goods and services with crypto. Buying crypto is considered difficult as it is not widely accepted yet. If it is well promoted or implemented without any obstacles, we could see in the near future, many cafés, convenient stores, and plenty of services could be paid by using Pxs. One of the implementations, POS payment system, that Pundi X is introducing will let you pay your good, utility bill, top-up, etc. by using crypto. The mainstream adoption that we could see recently will embark into a total sustainable eco-system which could benefit many people.
