It seems that my second try to buy a galaxy s5 cellphone is being canceled as well.. and with the same reason:

how long would it take on average for eg a $3k @ 10% discount to get filled ? any ideas anyone im thinking of making my first purchase lol Cheesy bit scared imho lol

10% is pretty low should be filled within minutes or hours My +300$ orders were filled in less than 30 minutes and I used 21% (tho one got canceled by amazon and now I'm waiting for the second time for the order to be shipped) , try to make sure the order is fulfilled by amazon (that would help if there will be any problems) ,  purse should cover any problems with the order..

You cant say this so generally. One would need to know which amazon srgkrgkj is wanting to buy in. I noticed big differences there. You wont get a buyer for some time on some amazon's and on other amazon's you need to use a lower discount in order to get the order filled.

I suggest setting your order up and lower the discount by 2% each day, or whatever timeframe and discount you chose. At one point your order will be taken.

If you want to be really fast, and you want to buy on amazon.com AND the destination address is in the US, then you can order instantly with purse instant. You would not need to wait for a buyer then.

Can't figure out why no seller lists the Southwest Airlines Gift Cards that are available on Amazon. A small business or a family could cut their airfare expenses by 25% quite easily. You can even use for SW Vacations.

yes you can cancel. If the order is under $200 put in 35% off and wait a couple days. As long as it doesn't have long shipping times it will get picked up.

thanks guys i was worried lol this will be the first time i have ever used the services of Purse so understandably im a bit on edge lol i might just decide to bump up the discounts to 15 to see if it will work Cheesy but if it isnt taken up can i cancel the order and make a new one or do the btc only go one way ?

Under 10% within an hour, under 20% in the same day is my guess. Quite a bit longer if the item cannot be purchased with gift cards (Prime memberships, gift cards , items from non-USA stores)

Obviously I don't have good feelings again...


Even that transaction had been cancelled.

Now, after that, another buyer purchased the item 3 days ago. I asked him yesterday the tracking code: the item is going to be delivered today to Oslo (Norway), while I live in Italy....


Too many scammers on purse and it is sad  Sad   it's like playing a roulette..  I'm going to try it again tho..

At least purse is great when it comes to refund you. If you explain them the problems then you will most probably get refunded if you lost your money already to the scammer. Even when you cant return a product, for example because buyers account is blocked, they will refund you. I had this once, the account was on hold because the owner claimed an unallowed access of the account. Dont know if true. Though since that, amazon didnt allow me to return an item. Since these investigations from amazon most probably will take a year or so, purse refunded me for the item.

I think thats a good move by purse. But still, i dont understand why they dont simply enforce buyers identification. They would safe a lot of money i think.

Exactly, their service looks very promising and user friendly.
I also feel safe using it knowing they got funded by some of the biggest figures of the bitcoin industry:

I didn't have luck with my order, the guy that took the offer had 80 positive feedbacks with 0 negative/neutral.. the order got canceled probably by amazon  Sad

Agree with some of these but not #7.. As it is buyers abuse the system and this would provide additional opportunity to do so.

What can a buyer really do wrong, that is, that is not outright fraud. The buyers process starts with his order number. It  seems to me that anything a buyer does wrong would have to be a termination offense. Isn't this more or less why Ebay stopped having sellers rate buyers. Additionally, even if the buyer earned a bad rating you still could not stop him from selecting your item, you wouldn't even know he selected your item until it was too late anyway.

Fake order number = fraud
Cancelling order = fraud
Stolen CC = fraud
Sending incomplete order = fraud

My wishlist for Purse.io

1. Allow all sellers to post any discount they want, let the market sort it out.


2. Allow sellers to be more precise in the discounts they request, why have 20 people at $284.07.


3. Faster responses in CS. Though to be fair, in urgent matters they are reasonably fast.


4. Permanent sort check-boxes, should not need to keep clicking on United States, Japan, or whomever in the pull-down menu.


5. Add a column for exact percentage above Bitcoin price. This will help in the international postings as well.


6. Automatically remove or disable a sellers posting after X unique cancellations, much like Craigslist's flagging . This will slow the daily routine of finding out after you accept an offer, it is going to the Comoros Islands with $45 shipping and $30 duty that was not included.

7. Remove ratings for buyers, this only causes buyers to habitually rate sellers as perfect as they fear retaliation. The only thing a buyer can do badly is fraud, that should be a termination offense anyway. Of course what can the seller do badly, the seller can only not communicate or confirm, anything else like claiming the package didn't arrive is fraud I suppose.

Agree with some of these but not #7.. As it is buyers abuse the system and this would provide additional opportunity to do so..

Reward buyers with a 1% rebate for posting when shipped, out for delivery, and finally delivered. Make them request it, as it could not be automatic.
