Do you have an understanding how much time would you need for anonymous transactions?

Atleast twice the amount of time of what would be needed for colored coins.
I can't give an exact amount of time.

Is it possible to add a "difficulty" value / level for all the features mentioned in the doc?
As you said Anon is  2 * Colored coins time.
Probably this estimation will help voting features will less difficulty in order to have them the soonest possible.

Thanks

EDIT : I have seen the second page right now in which the below is mentioned

Quote
Time Estimation

Arbitrary Transactions > Streaming API > Wallet Upgrades | Assets > Anonymization

I think this cover my request.

Reality is stranger than fiction
I missed the last week due to moving.

Could anybody please answer these:
1. Can everybody see the voting results? In case Poloniex admin voted with 500M Qora we should be able to see it an exclude it from voting.
2. Can we set limit by account age? For example make the voting only possible for accounts created before the date of the voting poll started. Don't know if it might be useful though.
About number 1, why exclude someone? I don't understand, he is in possession of the coins, it doesn't matter if he owns it all or it's all from his customers, he currently is the holder of them regardless of IOU's.

His vote would make the voting system more centralized.

Is the payload of an arbitrary transaction encrypted so only readable by the receiver? Or is the payload public? Or, could it be a choice?

Will the color coin/asset have to be ubiquitous or can it be unique? In other words, will it be like next, where you create an Asset with X amount of shares/tokens. Or, is is possible to create tokens for unique items without having to spend an asset creation fee for each unique item?

Arbitrary transactions are the same as automatic transactions? Or automatic transactions are not yet included in the google doc?

Totally different.
Arbitrary transactions only contains data.
Automatic transactions execute code.

Thank you for the answer.

Qora feature vote #1

It is time to vote for the next feature of Qora.
You can find the correct poll in the client with these details:
Name: qora feature vote #1
Creator: QMk21ZLpcdeAicFb4zxnJJPtcMGPAWeSoK
Please make sure the creator of the poll is correct.

This is an experiment.
If everything goes well the vote will end on Friday 3 August 6PM GMT.
Exchanges should not vote. I will ignore votes from the exchanges.

The descriptions of the options can be found here.
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1u8_Bf7NBfgsadIjIg72dJW23kabkcZC9lP10Db6_MUM/edit?usp=sharing

You can only vote for one option with one address.
The votes an address provides is calculated realtime using it's confirmed balance.
When you revote for another option your previous vote will disappear.

Just caught up on the chat logs...they are gold mines...I like what I see. Qora now heading in the right direction.

If you haven't read these logs, definitely a worthwhile read. More activity than this thread.  Cool

Brief Summary:

EDIT: noticed that my browser did not load the following links properly but on the chat page, the time /chat line is highlighted on the webpage so scroll up to the highlighted time to see reference...may be my browser, sorry!  Sad
Edit2: links loaded properly when I right-clicked and opened link in new page...

1. Qora not working full time on Qora but spends all free time on Qora; may transition in future: http://coinia.net/qora/chat/logs/2014/06/24.html#18:31:41.885018

2. Qora working on syncing issues and other minor bugs now that voting is implemented: http://coinia.net/qora/chat/logs/2014/06/25.html#18:28:53.53770

2. Bitcoin raised by Qora are about 123, still in account; discussion about use: http://coinia.net/qora/chat/logs/2014/06/24.html#19:09:03.712816

2. Voting implemented and Qora asking for community input re: features and limitations: http://coinia.net/qora/chat/logs/2014/06/24.html#19:37:09.696441

3. Automatic transactions discussions betwen qora and vbcs who has worked with NXT on developing AT; possible consideration for other coins to integrate esp qora. Qora agreed to cooperate: http://coinia.net/qora/chat/logs/2014/06/24.html#18:33:14.558712 ; and http://coinia.net/qora/chat/logs/2014/06/25.html#20:39:38.166641
Good thing you posted this. Absolute classy conversation. Qora is in a genius' hands and the community is wonderful. Finally I am happy that i didnt sell a single qora a week ago due to no activity in the thread. Now, I want to stay longterm with qora because it was my first investment in crypto-world. I haven't upgraded to V10 due to travelling, i will upgrade once I reach home and then vote.
On a sidenote- Isn't qora very down to earth and simple although he has the brains of planck? Very hard to find such people nowadays!

We've seen what has been happening with dev stakes lately. Be glad that he isn't interested Smiley

From what I've observed thus far this is a person who is more interested in the technology itself rather than any direct monetary gains.

qora could have run off with +100k USD on multiple occasions already. Yet he didn't. Every man has his price, especially in a semi anonymous environment. But this man has already proven himself to be particularly expensive, or not for sale at all.

While Qora showed some willingness, we shouldn't ask him for any of the BTC. Its his pay for his effort. Its an awkward question to ask him.

It pretty much ended there...  no need to bring it up again...  we got plenty of QORA to throw at people!   Wink

If anything...  the community should pay attention to the fact that qora hasn't even bothered to move/use the IPO BTC...  lol   Cool

Yes, he should keep most of the funds from the IPO, he earned them! (Although if he has massive amounts of QORA himself from investing into his IPO riskfree, then I would only partly agree Wink )

Other than that, I hold 5,7 M qora for marketing, that is good enough for the start I think!

He mentioned in chat he barely owns any qora.

Which I believe... which is insane. I would want to own at least 5% of a coin I made.

I only really mentioned it cause the summary suggested it was seriously discussed, as you said it wasn't, seriously at least.

Its an awkward question cause Qora would feel like he had to say ok when really he shouldn't have to, just saying its a question not to throw at him in the future thats all.

If he had any sense he would buy Qora now, pushing the price up, he just doesn't seem that focused on the money side of Qora.

any idea why nodes have significantly declined today?

http://coinia.net/qora/nodestats.php
I updated wallet on a test version, which me sent @qora. She accepts connections only from ver.10. In this version of the attempt to fix the problem because of which the wallet lost synchronization.

nice job,thx,agran.
