who can say about the future of quarkcoin?
2 qrc per block - miners will not work with this profit, but the price are not likeable Sad

Short term greed . Just like the current financial system.

Miners don't all think this way. If they did, BTC would never have survived, along with many other coins.

The daily profit seekers are good for economies, because they make a liquid market, but the big gains accrue to those with a longer perspective.

That's beautiful! Where can I buy a book like that?

If Bitcoin got cracked, hacked, compromised or corrupted one day which meant its end, would that automatically follow for Quark as its algorithm is also SHA256?

Quark has one of the most unique hashing algos in the crpyto space. Bitcoin uses a single  SHA2 hash, Quark uses 9 rounds of hashing from 6 hashing functions (blake, bmw, grøstl, JH, keccak, skein). 3 rounds apply a random hashing function.

NIST held a public competition to develop a new hash function called SHA3.
Keccak is currently chosen as the next SHA3 hash, the other Quark algos were all finalists in the NIST competition for the next SHA3 algo.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NIST_hash_function_competition

Im no cryptogrpaher but would assume if the NSA's SHA2 is somehow compromised, Quark would likely skyrocket as people would move into a more secure coin Smiley

if sha256 is broken or cracked ... bitcoin or quark will be the least of your concerns.

Love it, my favorite charting site. But the data only goes back 2 days?

Up 40%... And somewhere stompix is still bitchin. LOL

Of course I would have  bitching... If I only had internet access while away. It could have been up by 50% , right?

Bill Still counters back on Max Keisers tweet on Quark:

Cody writes...
hi Bill - are you Still onboard with Quark, or have you moved on to the Maxcoin bandwagon?

Bill Still replies
I just put up this on the Quark Forum: This is the first I've heard of Max's tweet. I see nothing in the construction of Maxcoin that makes it better. In fact, quite the contrary. I'm sticking with Quark." I'm not in this for speculation. I'm in this to solve a problem.

what happen if all of quark holders withdraw all quark of the exchanges
the exchanges couldn't overdraw and your pump/dump play would end ??
Where does the quarkcoin sell in btc38?
from your accounts?

And why did you target Quark?

It cant even be dumped. It's mining process is over.

I still through some hash at Quark for a few hours everyday but lately I've been trying to mine hard FairQuark.

Of all the coins out there I like the Quark the best...not sure why, it just feels good.

Just tested the deposit and withdrawal, speed is reasonable!
withdrawal confirmations went to Junk email....(all 3 of them)
Some of the facilities are in weird places but they're all there.
Support is very responsive.

I've Placed some quark sales on SwissCex @2% below the Cryptsy Ask rate.
Lets give it a try people.

I'm getting errors for the security certificate! Anyone else?
Must have fixed it Grin
