Prices and difficulty is going down.

This coin is down for counting unless something dramatic happens soon.

When doing the "make" command, I get this error:

quark.c:91:13: warning: right shift count >= width of type [enabled by default
quark.c:91:13: warning: right shift count >= width of type [enabled by default
quark.c:91:13: warning: right shift count >= width of type [enabled by default
quark.c:91:13: warning: right shift count >= width of type [enabled by default
thats a warning not an error!
as its a warning you can ignore it, i had the same and had no problems so far.

Looking for a partner to translate ENG-RUS

Hello English speakers. I wanna make a deal, find me an Eng- Rus translation project or job (contract). When you use "google - translate" you will get rough translation, send this rough Russian and english text to me, I will correct it, and send it back to you in correct Russian. The money we will earn, I wanna split 50%-50%, if you like this opportunity than send me a message. thx

have you ever looked at mturk.com?  Most of the stuff on there pays garbage, but the translation work isn't too bad (or wasn't last time I checked, about a year ago).

Not sure if there is any eng->rus or rus->eng on there, though...  was lots of arabic translation work

since I am lazy, i'll just send all the addresses a full block's worth as compensation for share switch-over from the 15th.

i've never run any of these pools for profit, so no big deal.  *but* distribution makes the invester in me sad.   it was nice to see that ~5m buy on crypsty

i pulled the full list (minus the amount I mined for myself).  i'll round up to the nearest coin (so the amount sent will be 1, 1, 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 4, 5, 8, 11, 14, 20, 26, 31, 34, 35 respectively).

for anyone that owns these addresses and sees some bizarre transaction, refer to message https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.3228451

Getting all rejects on the pool http://qrk.coinmine.pl/

 Huh

there is a typo on the getting started instructions, maybe that's what is causing you the issue. The instructions say:

minerd -a quark -o stratum+tcp://ark.coinmine.pl:6010 -u worker_name.1 -p password

when they should be:

minerd -a quark -o stratum+tcp://qrk.coinmine.pl:6010 -u worker_name.1 -p password

 Huh

have to register?  seems like wasting too much effort for not any benefit

I have and used the correct parameters. Maybe the pool can only handle so many users?

make sure your using a good client

Биткoин кaк и зoлoтo жaлкo тpaтить. Биткoин xopoший, нo oн нe cпocoбcтвyeт paзвитию тopгoвли.
Bce ктo xoть нeмнoгo изyчaл экoнoмикy знaют, чтo для paзвития тopгoвли дoлжнa быть нeбoльшaя инфляция.
нeбoльшaя инфляция этo cтимyл oтдaть дeньги, a нe дepжaть иx.

Ecли мы xoтим имeннo paзвивaть миpoвyю экoнoмикy, тo этo дoлжнa быть вaлютa c нeбoльшoй инфляциeй. этo oчeвиднo.

Кaк тoлькo люди(coздaтeли мaгaзинoв) пoймyт, чтo люди гopaздo oxoтнee oтдaют клapк, чeм биткoин пo вceмy миpy, oн бyдeт вeздe иcпoльзoвaтьcя.

Bitcoin, like gold, is a pity to waste. Bitcoin is good, but it does not promote the development of trade.
Anyone who has studied a little economics knows that the development of trade should be at a slight inflation.
Low Inflation is an incentive to give money instead of keeping it.

If we want to develop the world economy, then it should be with a currency with low inflation. It's obvious.

Once businesses realize that people are much more willing to give Quark than Bitcoin around the world, Quark will be used everywhere.

Just broke .000002  Shocked
I see +2 decimals soon!
hah, that'd be nice

it is a bit odd in having a digital coin where the "newly minted" amt decreases so sharply over time, i'm holding about 2% of the total amount available right now.  seemed like a decent experiment

how many quark is that ?

221,612,289 * 2% = 4,432,245 QRK

Yeah, more like 4.2m... just rounded it off =p

I've mined maybe 200k of it, I got about 500k in early Sep and the rest sep 24-25 on cryptsy
