basically:

1. Backup your wallet
2. Run quarkcoin-qt -salvagewallet
This will take a while. After it completes your unconfirmed transactions should appear as unspent again.
3. Resend the coins in smaller amounts. The new version of the wallet should warn you if the transaction is too big.

(save your wallet in same way as bitcoin, click file icon and save, save as : wallet.dat

also there is a new wallet version out, so once you have done new transactions and sorted this problem. download new wallet and add saved wallet.dat by uploading)

Also, add some more transaction fees (like 0.1-0.2 QRK) when transferring a mass of coins will help you avoid this problem.

I don't get the minecraft plugin thing.

I imagine it's different on each server ?

We should totally get a minecraft plugin going with this.Promote the coin, use the coin, have fun with the coin, ect,ect.... maybe modify the Satoshis plugin? Idk java cunfuzzes me
https://github.com/MetaServe/Satoshis
Awesome IDEA!

Thread should be made for a mine-craft initiative. Large QRK holders need to come out of the shadows and start spending to build up the Quark economy!

More contributions to come...
I've cloned the repository to https://github.com/QuarkCoin/MetaServe Anyone who would like to participate PM with your GitHub Name to be added to the Team.
Nothing has been altered, only cloned so far!

When will quarkcoin.org be back online? If the developer needs a web server I can donate one of my spare servers with 4GB RAM + 4TB bandwidth per month...
Looks like the developer has abandoned the coin. Which is really sad - quark is outstanding, not just another pump&dump sh*tcoin. I think quark community should start looking for someone to take his place asap. Buy orderbook on cryptsy is almost empty, and the coin will just die after another couple of dumps.

I agree. I can donate my server if someone wants to build a new website. Also, if someone sets up a bounty, I will definitely donate several hundred thousands QRK.

Thanks for the offer. I can add your bounty to the first post if you like.

Guido did an excellent job as a Quark fan to run the web site, but it appears to be down now.

If there's anyone with some web design skills that'd like to help design a new Quark web site, please send me a PM or post here.

Max, could you please add my bounty to the first post?

Personally think the logo is fine - just my opinion .

maybe take the colour out for a more simplified version but that wouldn't have to be permanent .

what the last cpu exe miner?

good question isn't it ?

seems the smart thing to do would be to make it clear and easy to find but that's just my "crazy" opinion lol
sorry my reply is not "Mensa Genius" calibre (inside joke for well know Troll)
Not sure I understand the question.
If you're after the latest version of the CPU Miner then its quarkcoin083r3win.zip?
Download from the link at the start of this topic or the link on www.quarkcoin.com

it must have been fairly recently buddy added info on his first post because we all know it wasn't there before Wink
There is no dedicated topics for the various miners now mentioned on page 1 and info about them is scattered over a lot of pages on this topic.
and the info on dedicated miners on page 1 is vague to say the least.. which is why the guy i quoted asked.. obviously
this is brutally obvious so it seems like your playing dumb to be argumentative or something..
Has the question been answered to your satisfaction?
If not; rephrase it so people trying to help CAN.

If you insist on being abusive then count me out!

I was having some, err, issues, and had to take the pool down.  If it was more active, I'd put it back up, but only a couple of people were using it at this point, anyway.

Anyway, due to lack of warning and what not, and because I'm a nice guy  Grin ... I'll take the payout from the last block found (removed myself):

QRPFckhPyhs3npbNL5vNyED9sioGJCUeYL: 0.06634
QM3vc2GnZ37TsqN791Qeg3bt37wrTXghs7: 0.16007
QNYyRMETQz5uV9xCC2QM3BhRjxpzbh7R3y: 1.54193
Qe3eZL6TTBNNbwMtfgDYPhZwpyKJ1zRf3L: 1.96433
Qbfz1htJ4Ykh8nco66joxnTSWnt8xLLPmw: 2.29055
Qa4gRRhbDD3aB85L6Er5kWKhJ9JxGiHPn1: 5.37003
QXhMSKx4ahbpj7M5APh6SoBjtmssR9HuEW: 10.3912
Qj2gPtBJgNDbKrzsJUA13TnFxqvpuxhrfq: 99.09948

and send 3x that amount to each of those addresses sometime when I get time in the next day or two...  (as shutting down essentially robbed you of shares from the last 24hrs or so)
Qa4gRRhbDD3aB85L6Er5kWKhJ9JxGiHPn1 here,
I'm sorry to hear this, I loved using your pool because it was fast, efficient, and payed well (at least for me). The other pools have been kind of a bust for me (maybe the newer versions of p2pool compute shares differently). But then again, my hash rate is low because I mine quark with the free cpu in my gpu rig. I wish you'd reconsider, but I understand if you prefer to focus on the more profitable BTC. Thanks again for providing your service and for doing it for free.

Hello everyone. Me got a problem.

I try to build the quarkcoin-cpuminer on Ubuntu 13.04.
I do everything like it is written in the Readme. But when
I ./configure I get:

./configure: line 5534: syntax error near unexpected token `,'
./configure: line 5534: `LIBCURL_CHECK_CONFIG(, 7.15.2, ,'

I read somewhere that my libcurl config is broken and that i
should build from tarball. But there is no tarball available.

What can I do? Does someone know a solution? Thanks!
Try something like:
sudo apt-get install curl libcurl3 libcurl3-dev php5-curl php5-mcrypt

dont do that, this is retarded.

install libcurl4-openssl-dev and then do ./autogen.sh && ./configure
EDIT: if ./autogen.sh fails, install autoconf

Already did that. But now I purged the old package and also upgraded to 13.10 and
installed libcurl4-openssl-dev again and now it is working! Grin Thank you anyway!
