This looks very interesting. I'll be watching closely.
Haven't read the white paper yet but other than using hash based signatures will this have any other implementations that will be different to BTC/ETH etc?

If it really is attack-resistant related to quantum computing, I believe QRL will be a decent decentralized  currency for the future, HOLD up to a few years

Trading Offer: Selling QRL Mainnet Quanta, Buying ERC20 QRL tokens at 10% markup

I am selling some of my mainnet Quanta in exchange for QRL ERC20 tokens or Bitcoin.

I am offering a 10% markup on your number of ERC20 QRLs, so:

110 mainnet Quanta for 100 ERC20 QRLs

The reason why I am doing this is that I currently cannot sell some of my mined mainnet Quanta because there are no exchanges yet that trade the mainnet Quanta. Bittrex, Liqui etc. are still trading the ERC20 token.

The amount I am willing to exchange is up to 1100 of my mainnet Quanta for 1000 of your ERC20 tokens.

Please be aware:
This is an OTC exchange, therefore the exchange will have to take place in several steps or via an intermediary to reduce the risk for both parties.

Here's the link to my mainnet QRL address to prove I have the mainnet Quanta:

To be clear:

I don't want to scam anyone or be scammed myself!

I have been member of this forum for more than 4.5 years which would count as decades outside the cryptoworld and I intend to keep my profile unassociated any scams.

Only offers of members with a membership of at least 1 month before this post will be considered as serious.

If you are interested, please send me a pm or answer in this thread.

Thanks and cheers,

curefrankosflue

I did a write-up of the usual arguments I see about why quantum computers won't be a threat, and why those arguments are wrong - would love any feedback, I spent a lot of time researching

medium.com/@charliethompson_63350/quantum-computers-pose-a-credible-threat-to-the-security-of-bitcoin-4b1dd65944ca

just took the time to read through your article. Interesting read, which also gave me some new information.

Thanks for taking the time to compile the article AND provide your sources. That doesn't always happen.

Cheers

because without trading a currency is useless?

that's exactly what i said you dildo  Roll Eyes

this is why price is dropping when other markets rise

this has been trademark for QRL - the price has never depended on bitcoin price drops and rises and has been always independent. it's a good thing, not a bad one.

all it means is that now they have their own ecosystem which is not part of the btc bubble and the two are not co-dependent like 98% of other cryptos.

Grin every coin is linked to btc price, qrl is no different. maybe in 5-10 years it may be different for now it is not.

*sigh*

you really have no idea how the system works. i'm not going to argue with someone who does not understand the basics or fails to follow simple graphs.

you need to go back to basics and study the ecosystems.

i'll give you a hint and a push in the right direction, but otherwise i'm too old and too damn tired of explaining this to people. i've been doing this since 2009 and i really, really hope you will just stop responding to posts you know nothing about. you're disinforming the general public.

https://www.zerohedge.com/sites/default/files/images/user5/imageroot/2017/07/17/blockchain%20ecosystem.jpg

https://steemitimages.com/DQmQz4S8yN24b1NSBZ4pNLmyzPi3KyGNvqTpGdWw7K8Zobd/TheCryptoAssetsMap_highres.png

you really need to start thinking of different ecosystems as different "bubbles". there was a graph for idiots about 4 years ago, can't find it anymore, but it really showed how independant some cryptocurrencies are against the satoshi.

and, by the way, if you go on polo, why do you think you have 4 different tabs on top in the "markets" drop down menu? there's btc, eth, monero and tether. just something for you to think about.

if you say "pairing" then your mind is a small box.
