In the last few posts that I have been able to read, its so disappointing to see a project tow this lane after the initial hype and positive reviews that have greeted it in the past weeks. Aside that, the tagging on red flag over it is another call for concern. I doubt if this project will be able to gather what it purported in the crowdsale ( if at all it happens). What I have learnt is that a single member can bring about the fall of the entire team...

Unless you're talkin' 'bout me, Mr. Dai can always pull a Vleisides and declare that he's on a good track now.

So what's the status in the QTum Slack? Anyone ask these questions to the devs?
I use slack app and can't open the Qtum slack channel, I think someone in Qtum team closed the channel, and I decided to lock my Qtum Indonesia thread and maybe other local thread must do the same with me and I will unlock the thread after see the future notice.

thats because they are scammers.
stay away

Currently, I'm refraining from evoking said term, just relaying truisms as they're uncovered. Team Qtum and others, please double-check any facts I relay, for I'm humor prone to rorre (WTF, that's a word/location?).

Obviously Patrick Dai is a scammer. But what about the rest of the team? They issued a statement saying the could see nothing wrong in Dai's past. That clearly incriminates them, but is it enough to conclude they are all scammers?

Now, something everybody else has had trouble finding: https://www.worldcubeassociation.org/results/p.php?i=2007YUNQ01 (I found in less than two minutes after taking up the task of hunting it)

Here's his Linkedin page: https://www.linkedin.com/in/caspal/

Here's his Twitter page: https://twitter.com/oyyq99999 (no mention of Qtum just like his Linkedin page).

Here's his GitHub page: https://github.com/oyyq99999 (Qtumproject is mentioned in his profile, his coding important if Qtum needs use of a Chinese lunar calendar).

Seriously, a Bitcoiner well-versed in the myriad frauds in this space, but when the dude who is educated in fraud prevention is presented with facts pertaining to the outfit in which he's an associate, it's time to don dark glasses and say ...

They get paid from Patrick Dai, of course they will pretend to see nothing wrong in Dai's past. You know there is an old saying: money talks.   Wink

I can't believe that is Qtum just another scum. I saw that they paid a lot of money for signature campaign and other bounty campaigns. All of the campaign are running in high rate?!
I can not understand what's the point.

Dai told CoinDesk:

"We raised the money to prove that our approach is right. We used the money to do the minimum viable product. The testnet is live now, but it is private, it is already working."

Dai said that the Qtum Foundation could seek to raise up to $10m in the token offering. In Q3 of 2016, nearly $200m was raised in ICOs, according to CoinDesk Research data.

Qtum also claims to be partnering with PwC Asia, which both its team members and investors said will be providing accounting services for the project.

Just say that you got a million dollars in seed funding whether you did or not, then pay for marketing from the little seed money that you most likely did receive, then you and the seeders will enjoy their ROI stemming from the projected $10M payday. Don't worry if one of your co-founders is a known scammer in this space because your fellow associates making up 100% of your foundation WILL find NO proof that such is the case, else they, too, would loose out on the $10M payday.

Get the point of all this now? If not, have somebody read it to you very, very slowly, for it's difficult for some to grasp the concept after just one read-through.

clear. Sad

So is there scammed only this investors, or we have more an individual? I guess it's difficult to determine the exact number of people

Also, how is it possible that serious players just the loss of a lot of money, and do not make the provision of money.

The point is: QTUM's idea, coders and backers are so spectacular it couldn't be a scam

I think the people they have hired are legit! Thats why they have been hired.

Its the founders that collect & run with the ICO money that's the problem. Just like when they hired legit coders for Bitbay and left them high and dry running away with 200btc & 200m Bitbay's & continuously dumped them on Bitbays investors for the last 2 yrs.

They still dumping them bitbay on stupid investors. I imagine Lin and Steven held over 500M bay at one point between them.

They have been tracking their wallets and they are all sold up now and have been for a number of weeks.

Wouldn't call them stupid investors. Have you seen what has been created! Download the wallet and you will be like "jesus christ! this is amazing"
