Our community development plan is to make sure that people feel engaged and respected. Many of our team members have worked at large corporations in the past, and do not want to create an atmosphere that is faceless. From a grass roots perspective, we will make sure that as we succeed that we remain grounded and not forget the great people that helped us get the word out about the project. This means that we will grow our social media presence, and as the community grows we will host live events in major cities.
From a business perspective, we think that meeting face to face will go a long way in a digital industry. This means we will leverage our network of backers to provide a platform to meet with industries interested in Blockchain solutions. This could mean doing direct meetings, conferences, group calls, and so forth. Networking in this industry is very important to us, we plan to keep our industry backers informed on our progress, which means we will most likely need to hire an Account Manager in Singapore that manages these relationships exclusively.

@mitao no, it is not better than Bitcoin at anonymity, though it is better than Ethereum if you don't reuse addresses
nancy [8:38 PM]
@qtum-brett sending in my resume
qtum-brett [8:38 PM]
This doesn't mean we can't implement anonymity functionality though
johnscianna [8:39 PM]
^exactly, we are currently researching different approaches to anonymity functionality because the do play a crucial role for businesses
qtum-earlz [8:39 PM]
Yes of course.. We have been following zcash's technology
[8:40]
And of course, if you are extremely concerned about privacy, Qtum will be compatible with coin mixers etc
[8:43]
@changwu "Thanks for the reply! When will you start to run the testnet? Will be interested in running Smart contract on Qtum."
That's great! We intend to launch the testnet in late March or April

One of the aspects of our system that helped us raise our initial 1 million dollars USD was the fact that we will put a lot of effort into the mobile telecommunications market. This industry never seems to stop growing, if you look at Wechat in China they have millions of users every day using the platform to communicate and pay for products and services
qtum-patrick [8:43 PM]
Q 16: Hi guys, great work and I am very happy that our fund Jen Advisors is also participating in the angel round - we hope to provide as much support as we can to grow diversity of enterprise crypto ecosystem. Question for you though - what is your community development plan over the next few years, especially as it pertains to adoption from the business community? A16 we will publish another paper < Qtum :Defining Blockchain Economy > part of the governance design come from Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC), we will reveal more information about our governance model and community plan and business plan. Since Qtum aim to become the value transfer protocol on the Internet, For Qtum Foundation, We will only focus on the Qtum Core part. But we will offer a lot development tool suit can make the third party grow the business easily. The original idea is Qtum will keep 10% token, to support at least 10 industry, include IOT, SupplyChain, Telecommunications, Social Network and Game and Payment, We will host some public contest to attract company or thirdparty developer from different industry. Also our Advisor Board will help on the Qtum Adoption too. We get some Big support in China, Since one of our Angel backer Come from KuaiDi, a Billionare with a lot of experience in Internet products, Will connect us with Some mainstream Internet company in China.
[8:45]
extend A 16: Also we have team members from the Top company in china (Alibaba Tencent Baidu ), We will work together to make Qtum been accepted by the mainstream. :slightly_smiling_face:

that’s great, looking forward to the governance paper from PWC. This seems to be one of the ongoing challenges that public blockchain models are facing and I can only imagine PWC has put a lot of thought and learned from the lessons from the first generation of blockchains
[8:52]
Also excited to see a mature and sustained business collaboration effort; IBM/Hyperledger is on fire in this respect, and Ethereum is also gaining steam w/ Enterprise Ethereum. R3 is already well known in this area and I think that it is one of the key differentiators for success going forward
qtum-patrick [8:52 PM]
we have 3 senior members from PWC are working with us everyday. they help us on the Project Managements and Risk Control and also Governance Design.
qtum-brett [8:53 PM]

qtum-patrick [8:57 PM]
we are keep an eye on all these projects, and we will make Qtum unique and valuable. also we had a short discussion with Hyper Ledger, Hyper Ledger can use Qtum account abstraction layer to get the smart contract capability. Hyper Ledger was interest on it at blockchain summit demo August 2016. here is the link (at the end of the video)
