these fpga miners are screwing all networks without asics with diff bombs
they said that they will release bitstreams so now people buy fpga and theyr not releasing because theyr exploiting stuff like this, im now going to asics its pointless to fight asics while we have people that toy with the network, they advocate anti asics because they mine with fpga and they dont want to lose the edge they have on gpu and the toying with the network hashrate

US server at Elitehash is back up on a faster server: http://rvn-us1.elitehash.net, still at 102.4% payout rate. 2h of shares after the database crash are still missing, the rest are accounted in the new server or already paid. Problems like this are bound to happen sometimes, I think a clean & reusable solution would be a script that extrapolates missing shares from stats right before they go missing like this.

...some of us mined stuff at a loss for prolonged periods of time and don't give a shit about your current "real issues"....
Apparently you don't get the concept that it takes money to make money. What I mined at a loss back then is currently sitting at around 75$
It's all about time horizon. Short time horizon price is most important. Long time horizon, price is less important.
Right now if you are a short-term investor you have to be ultra price-sensitive and good at scalping regardless of long position or short position. Market timing for trades is king for short-term investors.
I couldn't agree more, getting into mining though has to be longer term as things "normalize" compared with last years mad bull market. 12-18 month ROIs for new farms will become the norm for fire and forget mining.
There will always be significantly more money to be made by people willing to be on the bleeding edge but that well and truly isn't for most people as it takes skills and nerves.
RVN is an epic project with non of the eth POS taint/scamminess that will eventually end up having it classed as a security.
