Ooh La La, C'est Zoom!
LoL, I luv the difficulty/hashrate charts from last few days Cheesy

https://ravencoin.network/stats/difficulty/30

https://ravencoin.network/stats/nethash/30

I haven't read the paper, but this seems like 2016 blocks diff adjustment LoL - those devs never learn  Tongue

P.S. I luv people like you, if it weren't for them i would be making a lot less money, thank you for being bad a finances... LoL
...some of us mined stuff at a loss for prolonged periods of time and don't give a shit about your current "real issues"....

Apparently you don't get the concept that it takes money to make money. What I mined at a loss back then is currently sitting at around 75$ Cheesy

It's all about time horizon. Short time horizon price is most important. Long time horizon, price is less important.

Right now if you are a short-term investor you have to be ultra price-sensitive and good at scalping regardless of long position or short position. Market timing for trades is king for short-term investors.

+Merit NOW or I kung fu you

To all the pussy noob accounts coming on here whining and bitching about diff changes and going "We wanna fork!". Take it from someone who has been around for a while:

All the decent crypto project have had mistakes or fuckups along the line. What separates a great project from an average one is not how quickly "shit is fixed" but how well it's fixed and rvn currently has some of the best devs in the business.

What a lot of people seem to be upset about is the current norm for several other projects like verge, mona, vertcoin and the smaller ethhash coins that are doing fine.

If you want to do something about it, go break nicehash and mrr don't come on here and whine about "my rig only makes 1$ a day on rvn now, boooh hoo!" some of us mined stuff at a loss for prolonged periods of time and don't give a shit about your current "real issues".

Nicely said ya big bacon chops.
In their defence it would be furking annoying an scary.

..and I agree on how it is handled is how the reputation of the coin will be percieved.

Thanks for sharing even in your own tough love way.

This coin is climbing the ranks in CMC fast, yesterday it was 205 now it’s 158

It's due to supply. 2 days ago total supply on CMC was 1,231 bilion coins, now the supply reflects actual ammount 1.625 Billions. Somebody from this thread mentioned that he raised a ticket on CMC, so that they can correct the total supply. This is because the coin jumped in ranking by 50 places. It just reflects reality at this point.

Why not use something like the Dark Gravity Wave (DGW) Difficulty algorithm from DASH to adjust mining difficulty every block?
https://docs.dash.org/en/latest/introduction/features.html#dark-gravity-wave

I think the devs are doing exactly that, but DGW won't be implemented until mainnet from what I heard.

Lot more buying pressure at cryptopia than crypto-bridge.  Selling pressure is down a good bit.  Volume ( the most important thing IMHO) is down a bit but still 10 times what it was averaging just a week ago.  It is picking up on cryptopia which mean more awareness.  All in all a great week for RVN.

If the asset layer testing goes well this could see some real interest.

Would luv to see RVN used to register land in Zambia.  But honestly I am not holding my breath that RVN will be the block-chain used.

Use Ravencon to purchase real estate - good, positive news. But bitcoin or ether can also be used for these purposes, this task does not Ravencon unique. I would like to see a platform or project that gave Ravencon unique sense of use. That is what would give a significant increase in prices.

this is why I think they may use RVN

https://globenewswire.com/news-release/2018/07/31/1544696/0/en/Overstock-com-Subsidiary-Medici-Land-Governance-Signs-MOU-with-Zambian-Ministry-of-Land-and-Natural-Resources-to-Build-Blockchain-Land-Titling-Program.html

"As part of the MOU, MLG has agreed to deliver to the Ministry certificates of title in digital and printed form by November 30, 2018 to serve as proof of concept for a systematic, streamlined process to scale up the country's land titling program.

Plans for the full scope of the project include developing a blockchain-based land titling program that includes a mobile platform and capabilities for mobile payments. The platform will accommodate streamlined regulations and data collection to assist future government decisions around city planning and land use."

When is RVN asset layer coming out of testnet?Huh

I don't think that's what the developers are trying to do. Their job is to create the platform which is unique in its technology, but doesn't necessarily have a unique purpose or use.

who from the devs thought, when they introduced the coin, that a diff change after 2000 blocks was a good idea Sad

Very disappointing Angry, I had expectations that a currency would hold market value of at least 40 million
Probably missing something a little bigger in this project than adding it to cryptopia.

In Coinmarketcap you are missing 400 million coins. that would mean a 36 million market value.
