Depending on your card

JackIT has done the best work regarding settings, pools, and miners - his benchmarks 1080TI, pools, miners
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3385643.0;topicseen

I've tested a number of set ups and miners on the 4 1070TI rigs and on one 1070 rig that i have.
The most important thing is to pick the best miner - as of today, it's enemy 1.08, which can be as much as 20% over some of the earlier miners. Then tweaking the settings gets you 1-3% more at most. There are times it can do more, but with the changing algo, some times it's less.

So for OCing a 1070Ti, there is some argument over whether OCing the core setting has any benefits. I found it did, but just a little ~<1%. Boosting the Mem setting seems to have benefits, but don't get too aggressive or the fluctuating algo can cause resets or crashes. And that will wipe out any gains you would have gotten from OCing. I find the 1070 need more power and less OC. And it seems to be true that increasing TDP has the most effect/increase regardless of the model of GPU.

Bottom line - your TDP setting gets you the most return, but it runs your GPU hard. So it's a balancing act with your electric costs and how hard you want to drive your GPU.

My settings -
1070TI, Enemy 1.08, TDP 75%, Core +200, Mem +300.
1070, Enemy 1.08, TDP varies by card  (I have one mini which is a little bitch) 80-85%, +50,+190.
Stable for days at a time.

Thank you!! I basically copied your setup when I started mining yesterday.  These 1070TIs work well for this, already have 48 RVNs from a little under 24 hours of mining on 1 card.

2,148 TH/s network hashrate now, almost double that a week ago  Shocked
I thought something was up it like the difficulty sky rocketed I made half of what I did a few days ago is there a difficulty chart somewhere does anyone know

Same here.  Also making half of what I made last week.
See the difficulty chart on this site.

rvnstats.info

It's the little small green chart on the right.  Difficulty went from 16,511 to 19,477.

I trying to figure out the best settings for mining with my nVidia cards.
Since X16r has several algo I am assuming that both core and memory OC is good, anyone know which is more predominant ?
thx

For those with blockfolio.
Your RVN will be busting out due to Cryptohub having 3 trades that total 153 RVN for 861 satoshi's, Cryptobridge is still 498 sats.

Hi All,
Pardon my ignorance, but is there a block explorer or way for me to see every mining transaction that has occured to my wallet?

Thanks
Yep - Page 1 under the heading Block Explorers

Unfortunately Hash4life only shows 100 transaction so i will check the other explorers when I get home.

Thanks!

Your QT Wallet will also have all transactions.
You can then open a transaction and search it in a block explorer if you want to trace the transaction

Just what I needed.

Thanks Bitebyte!

wow nice jump by RVN...now quite dissapointed that sold a bag few days ago.
But that`s crypto and you have to live with that  Grin

same here i sold 2/3 of my bags very low, ill hold my last bag for a while

well, that was a newbs mistake Wink

You dont buy coins of such great projects as RVN for quick swap. Just buy and HODL. 500 sat is still super low price. Stack as much as you can, give it one year and thank me later.

yeah im holding my last 10k bag at least till next year

i was holding everything i mined from December till March, but further market drop made me cry that i didnt sell it, it would gave me much more gain if i sell it straight away. After all i had to sell 90% of my bag to pay the bills at the end of March.
Seems now times are changing and you have to hold what you can

Gonna look into mining i bought a few on crypto-bridge but paid to much smh hope it goes back to the 600 sat lol im going to start accumulating for december. No reason for that month just in case crypto goes extra bananas like last year  Grin

Yeah I'm planning on holding long term on this one. I generally transfer about 10% every week or so to have some available for a good sale price just to cover electricity, on a good price spike.

I had a power failure and now my Raven core wallet won't open, it crashes according to the event viewer.  I have a substantial amount of RVN's in it.  I did a wallet back-up yesterday and have the wallet.dat file.

My question is how to move the wallet to a different computer and recover the RVN's.  I have looked but there does not seem to be an explicit step by step instruction on how to do this. can anyone help?

A good time to repost this:

Backup wallet.dat.
%appdata%/raven
Copy wallet.dat to a safe place
Always back it up if you create a new receive address and keep old copies

Restore:
Install qt wallet
Replace the default %appdata%/raven/wallet.dat with your latest backup copy
Sync wallet.

Backup your private keys
(Keepass noted below is a suggestion only - DYOR)

Open Raven Wallet
click on 'help' in the menu bar (top right)
click on 'debug window'
select the 'console' tab
type in commands

*List all your public keys
listaddressgroupings

*Unlock your wallet (number is the timeout in seconds)
walletpassphrase 600

*Present private key for each stated public key.
dumpprivkey
dumpprivkey
dumpprivkey
...etc

Then
Copy into safe place  - not a text file on your PC.
Try https://keepass.info/ or cabled printed to hardcopy - laminated and placed in bomb\flood\dragon proof safe. - Some use safety deposit boxes at banks... ironic  Undecided I suppose it gives banks a use in the future.
keep a backup of the keypass somewhere safe offline preferably - then keep that in a safe place - see above line  Smiley.
Always create a new backup if you create a new address and keep old copies
NB. You can also attach your wallet.dat into keepass

Import Private Key
Select Help
Select Debug Window
Select Console
If you encrypted your wallet,
walletpassphrase 600
importprivkey
NB. the private key must not have spaces, remove them if they are included in your backup

Let's not forget that on next Monday there will be a live-streamed Dev meetup in Salt Lake City and depending on how it goes, it could further boost the confidence of community and overall market into the project: https://twitter.com/Ravencoin/status/991361386252062720.
