Why is this coin mooning? It doesn't even sound that great, it's just new, and popular to mine apparently. Can anyone elaborate?

I feel mercy for you probably you sold your coins at low range at start of this rally that's why you are suggestion like loser. Actually that is really hard to predict about any crypto project if some people will fllow than they could lose too much.

Big companies will start accepting Ravencoin as mean of payment and this will make the process of adoption lot more easier on accelerated basic. This is not possible to see any market just keeping going up to have 1000% gain within days. Possibilities are unlimited but at the moment speculation is playing role to create hype and fomo and this will turn into adoption. All these things are interconnected and follow one another.

50c would put it in the top 15 coins.
Depends on if it catches adoption from small to medium corporations to list their stocks. If you look up the cost to list your company on NASDAQ then $10 is doable. $100 would be the ultimate fringe case similar to when ETH broke $1000.
$10 mean it need to market cap like ETH to achieve this level but it looking too high at this stage. I hope $1 would be more realistic which is not too high and it could achieve this in long term.

When the Asset Layer is released on Oct 31, that's when RVN will explode.
We've seen nothing yet. Raven is far more valuable than most with a 1B+ marketcap.

50c would put it in the top 15 coins.

With current pace next stop will be 1000 satoshis and then small correction again. This is called performance during uncertain times what lets you know its move in coming days when long awaited bull run will prevailing everywhere. Raven coin outperformed every other market with recent spike in volume more interestingly.

100 million broken. Good work everybody.
That is mind blowing performance ever of any project in bear market while other projects are losing their value and facing too many trouble but this coin will lead the market in coming days.

RVN made it to #54 on CoinMarketCap today after the pump - so I presume some more will notice

I'm was a long time holder of Ravencoin as well, but I received the team's delay to fix the difficulty issue which was going up for days and down for minutes as a warning for the future.
I have no regrets for selling at 0.00000450 a few months ago since I had good reasons for it, maybe I should have bought after it fell to half the price, but I fell in love with XDNA. XDNA has a different focus than RVN and I really hope that both projects can co-exist in high levels... that is if the Ravencoin's team has stepped it up, I haven't been following Ravencoin's latest updates.

I mined on Ravencoin since March and HODL all the coins until today and I'm happy with the RVN-Netzwork, the team, the functionality and last but not least the great community.
Don't get me wrong - there is also a lot of happiness considering the actual pump, but the fast growing price looks a little "unhealthy" for me.
Hopefully it wouldn't crash. (a healthy correction isn't a crash!)
One big adress buys a lot of RVN at the moment.
This morning (europe time) one adress holds 470 Mio RVN (370 Mio before weekend).
We need a healthy plateau and maybe somewhere in the future a smaller trading volume as it is today.
But at the moment: Enjoy the ride.
I will continuing RVN in the future independent if there is a big correction or not....
