you don't need to buy properties all over the world. that's not the plan. they plan to start in US and then extend as the project ramps up.

The advantage of blockchain and its applications like Real is that you can own a piece of land anywhere even sitting on your chair at home. Real estate ventures in crypto are rising up and will become popular as time goes.

With that information my belief is it will be a good exchange. So if you invested, or thinking to invest, don't worry about exchanges.
What I like most on this project is the fact that tey are focusing on their product first and exchange listings are only a secondary milestone.

as far as I know it was originally planned to start with Spain, since the team lives there. although I'm not sure, I'll go read again whitepaper

You can see progress on their site. They raised already around 11 mlm usd.

On the website it stated the hard cap is 50 million tokens. Current rate is 220 tokens per ETH. 50 million divided by 220 is about 227k ETH. The soft cap is half that amount = ~114k ETH.

But in the whitepaper they say soft cap of 200k ETH and hard cap of 400k ETH. Maybe I have an outdated whitepaper though.

You are right. Looks like they scaled down their expectations from 400k to 200k to finally 100k. With 66k ETH to go I hope they don't have to resort to lowering the soft cap. The current uncertainty in the market because of China is not helping of course. I'm sure it will pick up pace once we're in the clear.

Actually about china, they can turn crisis to opportunity. Website is only russian and english. I believe that lots of chinese investors looking outside of china for good project to invest. A chinese website, chinese whitepaper and some paid articles to the chinese websites can draw lots of funds from chinese investors for a solid project like real.

I hope they think about doing so.

As i think REAL is one of the best real estate ICO's, i do expect them to raise quite a lot more before the ICO is over. Especially now that Ethereum is so cheap!

Interesting question. Would be nice to hear if they have already some properties in mind, which they will invest in.

Lets hope the price for ETH will rise till October so they can get more and better estates for their raised ether.

So what differentiates this ICO token with Atlant?

From what I gather, Atlant seems to require you to be more actively involved with the platform/company (running a node, making decisions on property's law firm, management company etc).

Some people might prefer that, some don't. You should check and compare the white papers. The differences (at least there) are pretty clear.

for those arguing about ETH price on Real's forum. PLZ STOP! This is not ETH forum and remember dumbnuts that ETH was at $30 just in march of this yr, so even if ETH drops down to $150, i still say ETH is doing just fine. A savvy investor actually sees an ETH drop as a win, cos they can acquire more token for less price. So quit your whining and refocus the topic back on REAL. Thanks

No one is arguing about price of ethereum here. And even if ethereum is directly connected to REAL itself so this isn't offtopic. If someone wants to invest in REAL they need to pay FIAT for ETH (If they don't own it already)...

You invest with ETH, meaning that what you have today, it may be less tomorrow, so nobody can be sure if one should invest now so they don't lose REAL tokens, or invest tomorrow or any other day when price is rising, because it could easily go down more, and besides, REAL is based on Ethhereum, and now REAL is in an ICO, so eth prices will be VERY important here, because it concern the investment and the token, y REAL wasn't in an ICO, then I would agree to a certain degree that it shouldn't be discussed here.

I dont think that its really important. As you said, nobody knows how much ETH is worth in a few days. So  if you are convinced, buy as early as possible to get the bonuses for early investors. Furthermore, if Real will success, than its unimportant, wether you buyed 2500 Tokens, or 2800... (;
