So what will you guys do with Real coins, will you invest in real estate or you will just hold the coins and sell when the value rises?
Before i invest i would like to see how much i can get out with dividends and then decide.
I bought in to buy real estate's shares and gain profits, otherwise why invest in this project just to hold tokens? Sorry but doesn't make sense to me

It is not that simple. Every country has its own tax system. In germany for example, the tokens you buy are free, when you hold them for one year or more. But, if you use the tokens to gain profits, than you have to buy taxes: For the profits and also for the tokens, when you sell them (except you hold them for ten years).

Let's say the Real marketplace is online for a while, it runs smoothly, profits flowing in. What happens if a wealthy investor sees the potential and wants to invest more money than the total market cap of Real?

For example, all real estate and tokens are worth $20 million total, but the investor wants to put in $100 million. How would that play out?


If a project requires $ 20 million why would someone want to put $ 100 million? $ 80 million will be useless because this project can run with $ 20 million only. And really, such investors are too greedy!

It's a real estate projects which are requiring to buy some real estate. So even invest 10 billion, it could easily be used. Of course, it will harder to run it but still.

Atlant was able to accumulate 3.5 million dollars despite the fact that it is a project that is very much heard. 10 million dollars is not much in this market. for this reason it can be considered successful.
ya in my country some house is worth than 10 million . hope when reach softcap they still can do well then price maybe x10 when people realize they miss a good project.
If the people will see the first successful purchase they will realize the possibilities of this project and the possible ROI.

FOMO will be huge when real will pay it's first dividends. Then price will skyrocket and people will regret their decision Smiley

True words. If the first payout will come the token price will definitly go up, after people realize that they could easy make money with it.
I am looking forward to see what will happen in the beginning, when REAL hits the exchanges.

Yes, very true, as they even say in their white paper that, maybe as little as $1000 worth of REAL tokens (depending on price of property) could be used to invest in a property. Token holders will get a share of property income, and if it's wholesale, you even get your initial tokens you invested with back. It's a very lucrative enterprise!  Cool

So REAL is planning to pay dividends of what do you mean? That would be a great idea, but could be hard getting listed on exchanges, because some exchanges don't like tokens which pay dividends.
No, REAL token holders wont get a share of property income, but RPP holder will (Real Property Participants), you can buy RPP with your REAL token.

REAL Property Participation or RPP will represent the shares on each property. Each investor will be able to exchange REAL tokens for this property’s participations through our platform. RPPs will also be tradable inside REAL platform so any investor will be able to transfer and sell their investment to gain liquidity.

find the right property and invest all your RPP in it. Forget about it and in about five yrs your received dividends should hopefully be larger than the original amount invested
5 years is too long for the market of crypto currency, many invest to get quick profit.
I think that you can make a profit in this project for 1 year.
I will be satisfied with 2x on entering the exchange. Smiley
But this project is different from normal crypto projects. Real estate is a much slower economy. I think it will at least take a year.

I think that he will not get tokens but that it would be handled like it would in the real world. He would be part of the board.

On ico page it shows team sold for now 36k ether, which is $10m. I think its enough for they run their projects. This is one of the successful ico, on last months.

The whitepaper mentioned a minimum of 8 million which they easily passed a long time already. Once the ETH dip is over the raised amount will also increase a lot.

The question is when they will exchange the Ether they got to USD. I don't think they wanna wait too long for ETH to go up to the price at the beginning of the ICO (or even higher) because they have a strict roadmap they want to follow.

There are too many problems with exchanges and the community is too dependent on them. They are really the weakest link in the chain. We need decentralized exchanges ASAP. Are there any decentralized exchange ICOs?

They have arragements with Gatecoin exchange if I'm not mistaken. And also working with another exchanges.
What problem you mean?

I think there were a few ICO's for decentralized exchanges a while back.can't remember them though.

Haha, there are a ton of decentralized exchanges ICO's. Way too many if you ask me. And i think Etherdelta is already a decentralized exchange that works although it is absolutely the worst to use it is usually the place where tokens can be found first.

In their AMA with Ian Balina they mentioned that they have hired people especially to market to the token (to exchanges). So i'm glad that they thought of this to create some demand for the token and with that an increase in the price. Very good for investors.

You are right. and one doesn't even need to apply for adding the token on decentralized exchanges. They are a beauty.

you investors are very lucky, mi missed the investment opportunity, it was all over my face but hesitated, but surely this is the next big thing i will see you at the exchanges .

You can still acquire some Real tokens. The ICO isn't over yet.
Only the bonus is a bit less then the previous round, but still worthwhile in my opinion.

Just saw that the ICO raised 9 millions, that's great !

This is a summary of the latest updates (just copying Melissa's post on telegram for some of you that don't have telegram):

Hiring: We are interviewing amazing Real Estate executives and technology developers to join our team a.s.a.p.
Legal/Banking: We are opening different bank and exchanges accounts to prepare our ETH/Fiat exchange when timing is right. Because of last news that is proving to be harder than before but we are moving forward.
Operations: Our CEO Enrique Dubois is setting up office and team in Singapore, and some of Barcelona staff is relocating in October to our Singaporean HQ.
Exchanges: We are continuing to talk to different exchanges. They have been under big pressure for the last weeks and have not been very responsive but we are progressing.
Product: We are finalizing the platform designs and advancing on the product development.
