That would therefore still make this coin a scam, wouldn't it? Because a percentage is going to this 'level 3 reiki master' for their work to channel healing energy?

Therefore, you should be just as offended by this notion that someone is making money off of these 'gifts'.

I apologize for offending you, but I have just as much right to find someone's belief offensive as you are to find my disbelief offensive. 

Reiki is not a scam... the scam is when people charge money to "cure with Reiki"
Reiki is more of a spiritual belief and its fairly offensive to call that a scam.

Please explain Reiki with scientific proof.  I promise that it is much harder.

P.S. - the process of channeling energy into a coin as this reiki master would be doing is quite literally called electricity.

Considering Reiki is an age-old scam, this is amusing on so many levels.  Maybe I will just hold my hands above my mining devices and channel energy into them and see how much I get that way.

Note, it seems the pools last time I checked for Reikicoin are no longer active. Hopefully the new binary will fix that In the mean time, this is a great coin to try solo mining for.

This reiki master does a meditation every night... and also sends out reiki energy nightly...
I told her to include the coin in her energy / Reiki meditations...
For this task Ill give her half of the small premine of 5% ,  so u can pretty much pay for a reiki treatment by mining or buying reikicoins...The other 2.5% of the premine will be given out as Folding at home rewards, soon to be "merge" folded as we've named it. Which should give ReikiCoin an edge of interest compared to other alt coins.

And it gets better...
Reiki energy leaves it marks...
If the coins and the data does end up carrying this healing energy, it will pass through most of the worlds wiring, infrastructure etc...

I personally will claim 0 coins from this project. Well, i intend to mine this coin.... but no dev funds for me. All dev funds will be used for the Reiki Master to enhance this digital currency with healing powers and the rest of premine will be FAH rewards  - Update 5/4/2014 The reikicoin folding pool was hosted at Cryptobullionpools.com and had a good turn out. Roughly 250 gpu's were aimed at F@H to help cure cancer.

Sorry for the unusually short ANN thread. The Reiki master is going to prepare a couple paragraphs for me to post in this ANN OP.  She is busy living a humble life of giving her energy. When her statement is ready ill update the OP. Update - 5/4/2014 I try to stay in contact with the Reiki Master, however she still continues to devote 12 hours per day helping patients. She has not even touched her share of the coins yet. She is still trying to figure out her new windows 8 PC ... (grins lol). Never the less, the coins are being held in cold storage for her. I hope she decides to trade a few of them before she gets too old !!! ( more grins ) What I can say is that when I tell her about the Reikicoin network she is excited, yet has no idea about how to use a crypto wallet. ( big grins )

The exact ID of the reiki lvl 3 master will not be revealed... but if u wish to relay a message, I will relay any important messages to her.

Most Reiki masters are not cool with being in the "limelight". Ill have to respect the wishes of the reiki master and relay messages if you want to know more about reiki. I can answer some questions about reiki myself.
