You know what also cures cancer...eating high alkaline raw fruits and vegetables and staying away from highly processed acidic foods for a while. Also cannabis oil. But of course they wont tell you that, because they would lose billions in pharmaceutical profits from cancer therapies. But I still support PinkCoin.

There's a lot to like about PinkCoin. One that is obvious right out of the gate: the wallet actually works. From a fresh download it took me less than 15 minutes to be completely synced. (I know...but there are SO MANY coins out there where the wallets don't work properly, have forks, etc, etc - its the small things in life that make it worth living). Also, I like the anonymity that this coin provides with different sending and receiving addresses.

My wallet just crapped out today. It has been working fine since I installed it almost two weeks ago. Today I had to do a hard reset and now it says assertion failed and wont start up. Can anyone here help me out?

try going to %appdata%/pinkcoin - make a copy of wallet.dat and put it somewhere safe. Delete everything in that folder except for pinkcoin.conf and wallet.dat (the backup is just for safety. You should always have a backup of it;))

Then try opening Pinkcoin-Qt again and wait for it to resync. Let me know if it doesn't work.
