No way operate with fiat will be mandatory, we're seeing everyday new stable coins pegged to dollar (and I just red that China and Japan want to create a stable coin pegged to yuan and yen)

But you cant sure in this new stable coins which making unknown companies. As i understand they will have real fiar currencies, not another stable coin tied to fiat?

Yes i also think that the fiat gateway will be one the key of the sucess of ternion. It’s one of the most important feature for an exchange at the moment. It’s hard to developp and to build, not all exchanges can offer a fiat gateway to users.

In my opinion a high risk strategy because of the additional regulatory eyes, but I suppose you have to stand out from the crowd somehow.

I agree, crypto is just more convenient in this environment as of yet. change won't happen anytime soon.

I think biggest issues with current exchanges are customer service.  Glad to see ternion is looking to improve that with 24 x 7 support.

Satisfactory customer service is one of the key factor why I get into an exchange. Most of the exchanges dont even care about the issues which user get into because of bugs or network problems. It could be solved just with talk and it will reduce the tension off the user. Am glad that Ternion is active in telegram already.

I agree completely, people trust exchanges with their lifetime savings, so when having a problem in an exchange there is too much at stake, user experience in every way is crucial.

A lot of top exchanges dont need KYC for trading (Binance, Kucoin etc.). KYC for trading really bad idea. Does the team confirmed this or this is just your mind?

The exchanges you mentioned mostly ask a kyc for bigger withdrawals than 2btc. But they are located in asia. But european exchanges always ask kyc. Probably regulations are tighter.

Yes, I know. But 2 BTC per day is enough for traders in average. More than 2 BTC is just for whale. And people dont like provide KYC.
etfectively the 2 btc a day of binance without kyc to me are really enough, no one like the kyc procedure but maybe to operate with fiat is became really mandatory, we'll see, i will carefully evaluated whether to use this exchange or not...

What does the Windows download contain? Does the exchange run as a dedicated program instead of running in a browser?

Strange, I've only seen decentralized exchanges  like that, barterdex, waves client (with decentralized exchange in it), also bitshares if I recall correctly

Looking at the roadmap it shows that the Exchange Closed Beta will be before the end of the year. Is that still on track? Do you still anticipate the closed beta being available before 2019?

that would be great to see in my opinion. although the KYC always gives me pause.

Whats your issue with KYC? I personally don't mind KYC since I believe we need some of these steps to get new money into the world of crypto. Seems to be the next step if we want to keep increasing the market caps.
I do not also like KYC because one of the main advantage of crypto has to be anonimity, and KYC does everything vice versa...

I agree with your opinion. It would be more credible if we did not open our personal information to the public. besides, we do not know who we are sending out their data and how they will behave with them. and maybe it will be used for their purposes? we do not know it and I do not like it.

2 BTC or equivalent per day is enough for little trader like me. i don't need to do KYC.
and yes, most exchange in asia need to do KYC like indodax if you want to withdraw in IDR.

The kyc is not up to them. Any legit operation has a kyc now. Especially if they are handling fiat-money. It's not going to be a wild west in the icos anymore.
As for me, it was better previously than now: more freedom, more anonymity. now everything has changed and not in the best way

I think dedicated apps are better than running in a browser..

I see that there is only an app version of your platform for now, so will you develop the web version later? or is it already available?
you can check out a desktop version of the exchange here: https://my.ternion.exchange. Register and verify your account through your email and enjoy!
Nicee, thank you sir.
I see that the volume is still very low, is the exchange already live, or its still a demo?

No, it's not live, it's still a demo. Beta should be available soon and according to the roadmap prime launch of the exchange is scheduled for Q3 2019.

It was actually quoted as an option, not something mandatory, but I also wonder why someone would download having all the options available in a safe online place? There is less of this that enforce user security or ease the bargain somehow

I see. Maybe there are some advantages in having a dedicated app. I'm no coder but Browser games are much more simple than stand alone games for example so the same might be true here.
