Need help with solo mining

Ive got it working on my main pc but I have 4 other PC's on the same network and cant get it to talk??

Main PC (192.168.0.98) is connecting using these settings and so far got 1 block confirmed in the last 1 hour :-(
cgminer --scrypt -o http://127.0.0.1:9557 -u username -p password --intensity 15,15,15

my other 4 PC's same network, can each ping each other and remote access as well

I then used this on the 4 pc's
cgminer --scrypt -o http://192.168.0.98:9557 -u username -p password

It wont connect, can anyone help me please??

rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=192.168.1.*

rpcallowip=192.168.0.* for his subnet...

...

already done that as well, got me beat

D'you know, it's been a while but some of this software (not sure if it was pool related or solo mining too) won't ever work until you enable IPv6 on the network connection you are listening on.

It's late but if I recall correctly it was causing some #coin to fail starting with warnings about binding the port.

The client would start up and crash right away.

You should see if that's set up on your box if it's windows it may not be.

doesn't sound related, but what the hell.

I'm betting the author(s) will use different forum usernames to peddle off their coins...

I started mining at block 100 and I'm sure others got in earlier... It wasn't that bad.  Cheesy

Found a block with 100 coins....looks like all the premine bonus blocks are gone

Looking at the time of launch, number of pages in this topic I say: coin creator had many GPU rigs ready @ launch. Diff went up like crazy in such a short time.

Sounds like it. Even CNC with its "speed" didn't rise so quick :p
Block retarget time is like four times lower than chinacoin/feathercoin... Did you even read OP? IMO this is better because the network is reaching it's natural speed faster where as china/feathercoin just stagnated at an artificially low difficulty forever...

when solo mining what are the significant values to look for in CGminer? any explanation of what to look for would be much appreciated thanks

100 coins per block
No premine

Blocks 0-10 are for testing purposes and worth 0 RYC
Blocks 10-510 blocks worth 500 RYC
Blocks 510-1010 worth 250 RYC
Blocks 1010-2010 worth 125 RYC

Flipping the switch on your rig the moment you post and getting all the bonus coins with low difficulty is the same thing as premining.

Yeah, they were gone within 5 minutes.  Probably even sooner.

The thing that irks me is this:

In light of the fast difficulty retarget, early adopter special is offered:

EARLY ADOPTER?  That's insulting.  They could have made it 100 coins a block and it would have been early adopter rewards at low diff.. SCAMCOIN again.
