Did you make clean? The zip comes with alien .o files included.
Looks they are russian, too. I wondered why people in Montreal were getting up bright and early at 3am to start off the new day by releasing their coin. If it were someone in Russia releasing it that maybe would be more like business hours.

This one is a scrypt based alt so any mining tutorial for litecoin, feathercoin, or a few other will get you rolling just replace ***coin with royalcoin as in
litecoinQT = royalcoinQT
litecoin.conf = royalcoin.conf
etc...
I haven't seen a pool announced yet.

Chinacoin and feathercoin both had more blocks than that at around this timeframe after launch... Didn't seem to stop them from doing well

how come I had 7 transactions at start (no coins) and now nothing for about an hour?
