I don't think this is the right compensation at all, missing out on ICO is different from Airdropping free tokens to them since if they have their NEO they will also be eligible to receive some Gas tokens too

Given the massive amount of Neo sent in block 25, the compensation will be quite small. Still, it is a nice way from the red pulse team to try to make things right and acknowledge the mishaps of the ICO (which was the first one on NEO so I have some understanding for everything not going 100% smoothly).

Yes, absolutely, that's fair. If they hadn't missed to communicate the block-time-"issue", this had been one of the best ICO's ever because NEO worked really great, just one block was delayed. I participied in the Status ICO on Ethereum, and my transaction(s) were pending for hours, then vanished, after many hours suddenly popping up but still pending and so on, THAT was a drama.
Although I was really angry first that I missed to buy more RPX because of the lack in communication, I like how Red Pulse is handling that and I wish them success.
Anyway, ANS/NEO is one of my favorites since many months.

I received the same mail, but it's clear that only the 25 contrubutors will receive the airdrop. At least it's a small gift for beeing in that block

I just received an email saying they'll be airdropping GAS generated from the ICO for one month. This to compensate contributors that fell into the 025 block and missed out on RPX.

It's unclear to me if all participants get the airdrop or only the ones that fell into 025 block?

With all the promise this project shown the team seems to manage their ICO badly, it started with the wallet for their ICO, it took me days to get the wallet updated and later the blocktime and so. NEO team need to work with teams coming to launch ICO on their platform

Because while the ICO I also got an email from "Red Pulse Team" with a fake adress, where you coukd participate

If he had participated in the RPX ICO using the method outlined in the official email, using the RPX-NEO wallet and the Script Hash sent in the emails then he has nothing to worry about. The scammers wanted you to send bitcoin/ethereum via the 'normal' method of sending coins, so If he didn't do this then he should get his NEO back.
