What platform will Rubies use for 2.0 tokens exchange?  What ratio will each current Rubies be worth for these new tokens? Will the name Rubies stay the same or change? Will the goals be the same or different?  Will there be another distribution on any sites for user loyalty?

Sorry so many questions but I'm thinking of increasing my Rubies position and would like to know somewhat we can expect. Also I may suggest you go with NXT or counterparty because both have good development and Rubies 2.0 would benefit from this. NXt is shifting to Ardor soon and counterparty is adding ethereum vm integration. Both good choices imo.

I would like to know this too and especially if you are choosing a new direction since gambling hurt Rubies from getting on exchanges. Although that makes no sense I'd rather not have them give any excuses for 2.0 version.

I'm looking into several existing and upcoming platforms to see what would work best, the only issue I see right now is that 2.0 tokens may not stake and I'm hesitant to lose that option for traders/players/speculators of Rubies. I'm still in mid-research however, so nothing set in stone and the move to a 2.0 coin platform will be purely to help gain a wider audience and hopefully give more value to everyone's investment.

I'd like to see Rubies in the 10-30k satoshi range as it would help greatly with volume and business adoptions so our efforts will be geared towards achieving this price point. I personally cannot force a price increase, but it opens up many more options and possibilities for those who invest in this currency and creates an ideal deal making environment for myself and team. I know its taboo to talk about price as a member of the development team it's just pure fact that it's much easier to negotiate when Rubies market cap is high. Once we have more details we may take a poll and see what the community decides is the best platform to migrate to and then weigh the pros and cons. Again Rubies 1.0 will still exist for those who wish to remain on the current blockchain, this will be an optional choice for everyone who wishes to upgrade when all deals are final.

Will there be a swap between coins if a new version is created?

Yes, and the swap will last a few months to give people time, probably 2 month window so everyone has fair chances to make the switch.

You not think that should get Rbies 2.0 done before mp accepting it?

It would be best yes, but due to the amount of work involved with creating/marketing the 2.0 tokens launch may go beyond 2 months. I'm unsure of the Moneypot integration timeline at this point though for Rubies, if it happens that the 2.0 coin is finished and ready before they launch we can just have a changeover on the back-end server. The problem is that all of us anticipated the integration months ago and I simply cannot wait to move ahead with additional plans anymore. This is not a dig against MP, but rather we need to continue working on making Rubies more valued/adopted/mainstream and no longer can wait.

I'm in the process of creating an entirely new version and concepts for Rubies to help it be more future proof.

There used to be a thriving high stake coin sector (100-200% annual stake)...
That got completely trashed when Cryptsy went out of business.

Don't laugh, coins like HYP and HBN peaked at very close to $1,000,000 cap...
I've always thought that linking a high stake coin to a casino would be a perfect match...
Because it adds another level of speculation/gambling to the whole experience.

Just another 5% stake coin is pretty boring...
Bet mining/staking is potentially a brilliant idea, but don't be afraid to get creative with all aspects of staking  Smiley

100-200% annual stake is a very bad idea if want a long term coin. Because it will end up worthless in the end. Should have 1M rubies exsist and less then 5% inflation. When coins get down to few satoshi in price, its a 1 satoshi is a big price difference between buy and sell. Then we have a new RDD coin. If want buy pay 7 satoshi if want sell pay 6 satoshi. Thats a 16% diffrence in price. A coin goal should be keep value if want be a long term coin

wtf is happening with RBIES wallet? no connection, not sync to network. and now price goes up. that's a shady trick from dev,i can't move my coin from wallet

After reading you post I opened my wallet and I experienced a delay of 4/5 minutes before it started synching (first time I withness this) and  it's synching quite slowly (could be my connection anyway).

Will update this post once its done.

It may be your connection, I've had my wallet running 24/7 for a month or so without issues.

Yeah, likely: I was betting slowly at jackpotracer dustlottery, while synching my wallet, but other players commented they were betting fast.

Updated my post you quoted: synched and staking correctly right now.

This whole idea and coin is really brilliant it just came at a time when people were banging out huge ICO's instead of looking for long term projects they were flipping ico.  As a rubies holder I'm not that happy with price at all but as a stakeholder I am really happy. I guess stakeholders are the ones who made out best by far. I knew we would because bjorn and lobos know how to make successful businesses but damn I wish my rbies had been worth alot by now.

im happy  with the price right  now,  im catching  stupid  dumpers at a very  low price.  its yummy.  lol
good job for you sir then let it stake or invest it so can earn more while waiting for the price rise up again.
i hope the version 2.0 will rise up again the price of this coin, good luck dev.
