Just a quick update,

Rubies stakeholders are working on some proposals to help increase awareness and market health. We don't want Rubies to become centralized on any one site so I am working with everyone to try and reach a desirable and positive method to avoid this and keep coin health primary.

sorry for a newbie question here sir from the mechanics .01btc is the bi weekly entry do i have a chance to get a rbies with that entry? what is the assurance free rbies for that sir? thanks if you can clarify it sir. good luck to all participants.

You can try the daily Rubies lotto if you like for 0.001 btc to see how it works, it's basically tickets chosen at random. It's been slow lately probably due to Rubies price but it also makes for a good time to grab easy lotto wins.

A bit of clarification for this lotto, please. How many winners will be selected for the daily lotto? Will it be just one that will receive the total prize pool? How will the amount of rubies won be dictated? Thanks!

1 random winner for lottos and the prize is random too, there could have 1000 bought tickets and the winner can still possibly win the lowest possible prize amount

Just a little clarification about the bolded part: here is a partial copy/paste from daily lottery disclaimer "A winner will be drawn at midnight European time every day and the winner will receive a random prize between 250 and 1500 Rubies.

Everything else is correct.

What's the difference between spendable and stake?

I got only 0.29 from mining, but it moved my spendable balance to stake and left only a few in spendable. I don't understand this thing  Shocked

some of your coins will be moved from spendable to staked coins once you got some stake, it will need xx number of confirmation before it is ready to be spent again

Try to password protect your wallet then restart the wallet and unlock it for staking. This may help idk.

It was staking before also bro, but the estimating time wasn't stable. Anyway, I put a passphrase now and did what you said.

Dunno if it's your case but take into consideration that once you have set up a password and unlocked your wallet you start staking but if it happens you send rubies from your wallet it unlocks again and stop staking. So everytime you send rubies you have to go manually under settings/unlock wallet to restart staking process.

To get a better idea of how your staking weight compares to the network, check on the statistics page and look at your 'total stake weight' vs Network stake weight.
Think of your staking as a mining process in terms of hashing power, the lower it is means the less likely you are to create a block and get a reward. The estimated time to get a reward is calculated using these functions and will fluctuate.

thats normal, the estimate time for staking depends on the staking weight of the whole network vs your stake weight, if total network weight is low then you estimate time to recieve rewards is low

I see, now it's 4hours. Hoping to get some interest, if I get any, that'll be my first time to get a stake reward Grin

Excuse me? Someone said I can stake with a little as 500rbies, but I have 1600+ and been staking since last few days and had no luck of getting any interest, except the "Expected time to earn reward is 8 hours".

Expected time is changing from time to time, sometimes it's at 12hours, sometimes at 8 and then 9 and then 12 and now it's at 8. lol

I don't know what's going on with my wallet. Someone please help Grin

Went to your site but didnt want to download anything. What is it you do and how will it help me?

Thanks

The web font pack enables you to use fonts to display the coin symbols and logos, rather than having to embed an image every time. For example, how typing [ b t c ] will enable BTC here. It's more for web developers than anything, so it won't make too much sense to the laymen.

Just a little news, the next game we have coming (this month) is almost entirely skill based and winning is competitive/based on scores. This game is very enjoyable and will be Rubies powered only, BTC will not be accepted for this game. Get your Rubies stacks ready for some fun!

this is a great news, this month will be launch?
why btc will not be accepted ?

I'm assuming because it will be a game that's proprietary for RBIES holders... This will help push the sale of RBIES on more exchanges, if the game is profitable for users, thus helping to raise the value of RBIES again Smiley That's probably one of the reasons Smiley

thank you for the explanation, I understand now, this is special for rbies holders.
good luck

I wouldn't say it "special for rubies holder" only: if you would like the game and have the skill to be a winning player you may turn some nice profit. I mean you may:
 - purchase some rubies on an exchange;
 - trade here with some member;
 - play a bit with your Bitcoin on Betterbets.io and receive your Rubies reward (betmining feature is active there so that for every 0.1BTC you wager on Betterbets dice/plinko/horseraces you have instantly credited 3 rubies to your BB account)

play this new game with those rubies and once you have done (hopefully winning) you may get rid of your rubies to have BTC or what you like most.

I would say it's "special for rubies" rather than "special for rubies holder".

I may be wrong but that's just how I see it.

Not sure what answer you're looking for. I'm a freelance webdesigner, I like crypto and this is how I contribute to the community(-ies).
No idea how it could help you, but you can use them on your website/blog/app, if related to crypto and you'll find these icons useful (e.g. if you want to spice up your donation addresses). For example they'll be used on a new exchange that's in development right now.
They just might not be for you, that's ok.

(..)

Dude, this is DOPE AS FUCK! I'll be installing this when I launch my site, and you can expect a little tip when I do Smiley

Thanks man! Glad you'll use them, that's the point. I'm happy everytime they are useful, be sure to send me a link afterwards with what you've done!
It might get featured on the Cryptocoins website when I'll redesign it Wink
