My thoughts about the protfolio:

Well, given the rather low amount of TEK it's one of our top-performers percentage wise. But again given the rather low amount I guess it's really either getting quite some more, something of at least BTC0.05 worth, or removing it.

With HYP things are a bit troublesome with its long mature times, the price dropping to half of its former value and delisting on Bittrex. But given it gets another bunch of stakes in soon it's performing not too badly and there's still Cryptsy doing healthy trading volume. But another coin that needs some little more BTC invested. But adding them now is quite likely adding to that big staking block every second month and not filling the gap in between.

CON is doing solid and a rather dependable source of buy back funds, and orphan blocks it seems. Cheesy

The returns from XRA are a bit underwhelming so far. Now is this because most of the inputs are aimed to mature until they reach a higher reward?  The range is 1% interest for inputs staking with less a day age to over 25% interest for 256+ days old inputs. But then the minimum reward is 100 XRA, quite a headache figuring out the most profitable approach. Smiley Quick guess perhaps inputs around 500, they get caught by the minimum reward if staking early but hopefully shouldn't take that much beyond that 256 day mark to stake. Something for the long term indeed. Cheesy

Sprouts is just doing grand.

CUBE has the potential to be grand as well if not too much of the rewards getting eaten away by inflation.

ORB is a nice addition, a solid coin. With that fixed reward of 1 ORB per block we will have to see how well it performs as it depends heavily on how many coins are staking on average.

mmm, doing some number with a 20 coins reward and 4 minutes blocks it is about 7200 new coins daily, if we want to support the price for example in 100 satoshis per coin it would need 0.00720 btcs daily , do you think we can get 720000 satos daily?

thanks
In short, yes. I think that will be possible. When it's a bit hard to predict. Based on the last few weeks that would take almost a year. On one side the investment value got hit by the general altcoin price drop loosing more than 40% of its BTC value over last month or so (The value per $ is still almost the same). On the other the last staking profit/buy back was the largest we had yet, curtesy to CUBE. The next will be interesting, CUBE lost 2/3rds of its value at current prices but the amount of staked coins should be about 4 times the amount traded last time.

Edit: If the PoW rewards are still following the plan, and since there was no hard fork I know about they still should, then the block reward is still 100 coins. The block time on the other hand from both difficulty and average is more like 7.3 minutes. I'd guess while PoS blocks are disabled the mechanics still plan for every other block to be PoS and aiming for a 8 minute PoW block time minus a little bit to make up for the PoS blocks not happening./Edit

Then there's the BTC price, if it drops again below 300$ the altcoin prices are to be expected to raise, if it stays about where it is I'd expect a slight increase with people that sold BTC coming back in and with some luck new people joining after learning about crypto. It's a nice way to gamble and toy in FX trading with a budget equivalent of pocket change after all. Smiley If BTC raises further things might get a bit tough initially, the trading on smaller exchanges and alts might struggle with further drying out of volume. On the up side, if trading volume can take it the prices might actually hold better this time and marketcap in $ could rise.

The biggest factor to accelerate things quite a bit are further donations to the assets though. Looks to be a good time to get some coins for rather low prices actually (and Cryptsy stalls most of my free BTC funds in a withdrawal for 2 days now Sad ). Btw. Crunck, which of our asset coins could do with a little boost in your opinion? If I follow things correctly HYP failed to stake for 3 weeks now and RATE and TEK drop out for a week occasionally.

0.0072 btc/day

for a small coin it might be hard to constantly raise $5/day, so yes as more coins are minted the price will adjust, basic inflation.

but that assumes all minted coins are sold ... in reality that doesn't happen ... so SandG might only need $1/day in new investment ... i also predict that SandG has a future and will have community growth that will more than absorb the inflation and the price then goes up.

crunk how much of the profits is used for buy orders of sandg in yobit?
Yesterday I think all of it. The big buy block is about BTC 0.0238, the first part was probably the sold CUBE at Yobit, the second ~5 hours later the funds from Cryptsy.

How he handles it generally you'd have to wait for Crunck to answer though. Smiley

How I would handle it? Usually I'd use the funds from on exchange sells right at that exchange. Most of the time the withdrawal and tx fees would be higher than the benefit of price differences as long as the profits don't exceed the sell volume of a price range. For the rest I'd wait until the collected amount is high enough so not a too high percentage is taken as fee and choose the exchange that offers the better conditions for buy up and transfer the whole lot there.

Very well observed as that is exactly what happened.

What I generally do is look at the topia Arbitrage page here https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Arbitrage and asses where we will get the best prices.
I also have to bear in mind that we can only sell SandG on two exchanges ( all though that may change in the next 3 days so please vote here : https://c-cex.com/?id=vote ) and not all our POS coins are on one exchange, normally but not all ways cryptsy gives the best price but they have a min 0.01BTC withdraw clause, but also in cryptsy favour is the fact that they offer cryptsy points on trade volume and these points I can use to vote up SandG on that exchange and hopefully get it listed on there one day.

Hi, we like your project, and would like to inform about our direct trade option.
You can buy all our pos stakes for xqn at 5% discount of market price.
So if your project were to invest with us, you can trade your xqn stake directly for many other pos coins also.
Let us know if you have any questions at all.
Happy staking!

i am gonna try to explain myself in my shitty english

You have some pos coin, this coins stake then you sell on the market the 80% of the staked quantity and leave the other 20% with the principal for make the stakes bigger
you should not sell daily but it would be interesting to sell in a weekly basis

if you do that every time stakes will be bigger and it help to solve daily save and gain issues to erode the value

have you understand now my idea¿?

pd= sorry again for my ultra low quality english

pd2= i bought in  130 and now is 60 Sad

Ok

Its 75% not 80% we send to the exchange, and I do it weekly at minimum some times longer, and the price bounces from 60 and 130 so dont worry too much about that.

Thanks

A further 50k sprouts have been added and we have 0.07025922 BTC ready to invest - Any Ideas ?

I've done it, doesn't necessarily make it a good idea, but it most probably is

https://altcoinsteps.com/cloudStake/dashboard

Min invest is from 1000 coins

We have had convo's over steps before but have decided against it, however if the SandG community decide it is now a good idea then fine..... ?
