Have you update the version number in the source ? After updating, the version returned by getinfo is still 1030000.

Oh no sorry overlooked that. Corrected and uploaded to github now.

Please post when your pools are updated to v1.3.1

Ok now this update should fix the rolling back issue.

This is only the exe file for fast download. Please place this in previous saffroncoin folder where the dlls are present.

Revolutionary - http://saffroncoin.com/saffroncoin-wallet-windows-2.2.1-exeonly.zip

Classic - http://saffroncoin.com/saffroncoin-wallet-windows-1.3.1-exeonly.zip

You can also download the entire wallet if you want from http://saffroncoin.com/#wallets

Github : http://github.com/saffroncoin/saffroncoin

Stop mining on any pools.
I will post when ever a pool is updated to 1.3.1 otherwise there can be chain issues again.

Currently you can solo mine X11/Blake.

Difficulties at present:
X11: 2.01
Scrypt: 0.77
Groestl: 16
SHA: 14367
Blake: 0.09

After running this you should be on the blockchain which is currently at block 116679 and you can also confirm your chain by matching these difficulties.

If you face problems, please try redownloading the Blockchain.

This scrypt pool is currently updated to v1.3.1 : http://pool.saffroncoin.com

I will PM the p2p X11 pool admin to update the daemon. After that you can pool mine X11.

Please do mine using these wallets. Once we all confirm that everything is working well, we will update the other pools and exchanges.

Thank you sticking with us in these troubles.

so is this showing the correct info, or does it also need to be updated ? - http://188.226.165.184/saffron/block_crawler.php

x11 and groestl are the two algos you should definitely try to keep... both are low power, and are attractive to miners...

scrypt is very mainstream, so i am not sure you want to lose that either...

so basically, i have no answer for you Smiley

would mine this coin again, but still pissed off over hours upon hours waisted last night, and i'm still not sure if it won't rinse/repeat and flush my coins into oblivion again...

How about sha-256, blake, scrypt and x13

Wouldn't be necessary . We have figured out the block weight problem. We are running some tests so the blocks of lower difficulty don't get overwritten by blocks of higher difficulty.

We are working on fixing the block weight problem which overwrites the block. This is one last attempt we are trying to do to fix this problem.

If it still occurs then we will strip out Groestl and Scrypt or pack all this in a new coin.

how are people mining blake atm?! Miner link?
I tried solo-mining but receive Failed to resolve (?wrong URL) -o 127.0.0.1:19716 - using same port as for solo-mining groestl and some cgminer for blake, not sure if this is old version :S

RPC Port is wrong. It is 19710.

Ok came to another deduction is that the problem is with the scrypt and groestl algos. Their blocks overwrite the others. SHA256 is fine.

We need your opinions to strip out Scrypt and Groestl.

Please give your views so we can do this fast and make SFR a 3 algo coin - sha,X11,blake.

block 116297 here.

But now I'm solomining with just 2 gpus.

groestl was fine for me and a also lot of miners with old AMD gpus. But if the solution is to keep X11 and blake and stop scrypt and groestl i'm in.
I don't like scrypt these days. too much heat for summer and too many asics coming soon.

In my opinion it will be better if we start from scratch ( new coin).

No idea, I do not see the interest relaunch of 3 new algos and it is unfortunate to lose groestl
I would have preferred to give interesting new features added to the new currency as vericoin a hit right now thanks to his payment via sms value.
After I'm far from an expert, I let others speak

I doubt the name of the algo is the problem.
COuld it be that somewhere a structure remains which is 3 -dimensional and simply there is "fight" which 3 algos to be "active" and to find blocks

wallet @block 16287 synced
2.2.0 version, it shows diff only for first 3 algo...
