I have two wallets, wallet #1 and wallet #2  both wallets are burning.

wallet #1 has around 74 coins burned
wallet #2 has around 20 coins burned

Then i went to 'merge' the wallets

exported the private key from wallet #1
made a backup from wallet #2
imported the private key into wallet #2

1) it seems that wallet #2 is now burning 94 coins, but there are some flaws.. the transactions aren't being shown in the transaction list

I'm glad that wallets seem to be mergable, but what happens to burning coins of wallet #1 and the new wallet #2 ?
Can i open both wallet #1 and new wallet #2 side-by-side without risk?

2) i cannot use the backup from wallet #1 because the backup is suddenly showing 0 burned coins

I didn't expect this, i would had expected that the backup would had still shown 74 burned coins
Is it true that a backup is made invalid after importing anohter private key?

Never mind, i must have looked wrong at the amount of burned coins in wallet #2 before the backup.

getburndata shows differend transactions then the transactionlist does in the client, i tried a -rescan but it doesn't work. (BUG?)
i accumilated the burndata and it is around 94 burned coins and i cannot find any burndata of the 20 burned coins from wallet #1 so it does not exists after importing the private key into wallet #2 from wallet #1

it seems that burned coins aren't transferable at all?

one block is 50 right? even if you can find one every two days, it would be very profitable anyway

my blocks were between 12.8 and 18.72

checkpoint warning, no new version that correct this?

Yes, let it sync

connections are not stable, they are on and off in no time, there are better nodes than the one in the OP?

is the POB gamble, because it seems that burning more doesn't mean more pow coins

It just just takes time.  The coins burn for a very long time, allowing you mining power for months(?) to come.

Did you find some blocks in last 24h? I find two block in the beginning but none in last 24h+,
dont know is it worth of mining more

Ok, I think I'm about ready to give up on this, I hate to be a quitter but:

Dev nowhere to be found with answers
I've been mining for at least 8 hours with not one block
I don't know what these cryptic messages in my log mean
I don't know if anything is getting accepted or if I'm getting confirmations, or if anything is being added to my wallet.
I don't know what I'm doing at all.
I don't know if my conf is right and i haven't received one answer and now all I'm getting is errors in my log

So I think it's time to dump this and just continue trying to earn coins the way I have been.

ekoja gave a good answer on how to start mining.

You should not worry yourself with that, the errors you were talking about are usual and normal.

I have 3 comps and I want to mine from all computers to one wallet. Is that possible with https://github.com/slimcoin/slimminer?

Yes it is, you have to edit the config file to look something like:

The url is the local ip address of the computer you want to mine to. And on the wallet you have to start it up with -rpcallowip="*", or type the ip addresses allowable instead of the star.

Code:
{
"url" : "192.168.xxx.xxx:41683",
"user" : "user",
"pass" : "pass",

"algo" : "dcrypt",
"threads" : "8"
}

SlimMIner working ok, I have cca 1khs per computer,but in wallet i get:
{
"blocks" : 2666,
"currentblocksize" : 1000,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 0.06898813,
"errors" : "",
"generate" : false,
"genproclimit" : -1,
"hashespersec" : 0,
"networkghps" : 0.00237041,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"testnet" : false
}

is that normal that my hashespersec is zero?

If you want to mine with your wallet type "setgenerate True" you will then see hashes.
