The PoW is a special algo made CPU only. By the time ASICs can be made for it, PoB will have overcome PoW and then the asics will not be needed any more.Quote

Wasn't it supposed to be mined on old computers too?!If you want to use less CPU, try manually setting which cores it's allowed to use (task manager, processes/details, right-click, Set affinity), or see: Temperature-based control of processes - howto

ok after 4th crash, I opened up the case and saw shitload of dust on the cpu fan...
so blew off the dust and put up my box fan on it.
hopefully this will solve the problem.
how big is the block reward? it says 50 on OP but it say 1000 when you type getmininginfo in consol?
