Yes, so far Education in a Suitcase has only been able to go to Kenya. We had planned to change that if we got the grant mentioned above, but although we got the grant, the funders insist we stick to Kenya for now. So we will be able to go back to Kenya in 2018 with more tablets and servers but probably not to further expand.
Our main problem in Kenya with regard to SMLY has been logistics: If there is no Internet then it's hard to sync the blockchain(!). Of course that's not a problem in the cities but EIAS has mostly been in pretty remote places. This may change in 2018 as we add new locations. We shall see: We'll need to refine our schedules and so forth once we finalise everything with our sponsors. We managed to hook one of the locations up to the Internet while we were there last time, but that hasn't stayed up. Since we knew it would be unstable we didn't emphasise the SMLY. It should be possible in 1-2 places to find actual SMLY uses (good-will from local shop/restaurant owners) but we need to make sure it is stable before we teach this to the teenagers and leave them with it.
For SMLY, if you look up geolocation in https://chainz.cryptoid.info/smly/#!network then you'll see where the explorer seems to see most of the activity -- being in the US, Russia, Hungary Iceland. We need to change things so Africa makes it onto this map!
