That is me and I hope we can create someting great for SOIL.
Yesterday someone dumped 7000 SOIL @700 Satoshi so I'm glad that it is still posible to accumulate very cheap SOIL.
We have a SOIL museum in Wageningen where I work.

What plans for the future dev this coin ?

SHORT TERM , within the next month or two, the projects we are working on will be getting our SOIL-sponsored mining pool running. this should be accomplished within this calendar week. we had a pool sest up within a week after launch, which the development team here tested, but in dealing with MANY bugs, we shelved that until we could find a system we trusted to work the way we wanted, as well as finding a cloud server which was cost effective to host the pool to ensure reliancy and uptime.

also within the week will be the launch of the SOIL android wallet, we are presently implementing the QRcode reader into this, and thanks to a generous offer by a community member towards the cost of listing the SOIL wallet on google play, this should all be available by end of the week. this is the first building block towards the eventual usage of SOIL at bricks and mortar and online merchants that coincide with our mission statement and target industry.

a full-featured block explorer is VERY HIGH on our priority list, and ive looked at many of the available explorers set for the Ethereum-centric currencies. there are specific features that i wish to see included into a block explorer, a rolling available supply/total supply list (which will help codify our position with regards to coinmarketcap) is absolutely necessary. WANTED, would be a differntiation and viewable context between personal wallets and contract wallets, which would make understanding and visualization of the more popular used DApps on the SOIL network, and the option to view the top miners on the system

MEDIUM TERM , the projects beyond a month or two out will be to set up a cross-chain communicative DApp, allowing SOIL to communicate, firstly, with Ethereums blockchain, as well as, conceivably, with Expanse and Shift (and what other ETH-related currencies pop up in the future.) similar DApps will allow SOIL to communicate with the blockchains outside of the algorithms used by Ethereum and its relatives.

this is the first step towards a port of EtherEx onto the SOIL platform, where SOIL would act as the base currency upon the system, and setting up trading pairs with Ethereum and, after we might have positive communication with the development teams of the other two ETH-platform forks, (SHF and EXP), to include those as well. subcurrencies (personal tokens) created ON the SOIL virtual machine would be tradeable upon this exchange as well, which opens up a lot of possibilities and would directly reflect ones reputation within the community. bringing in trading pairs with unrelated algorithmic currencies will be the medium term goal of this exchange.

(what the SOILexchange produces is a true peer-to-peer decentralized exchange, cutting out the middleman and the need to store ones assets on an centralized, traditional exchange. the fees assosciated with trades will simply be the gas costs involved, which will be something essentially set the same cost no matter the size of the trade, which will encourage larger volume trades between trading pairs, and discourage microtrades and bots, both of which would become cost-diseffective. this project is about a month and half out, although we should have the first, basic, cross-chain communicative technology set up within a few weeks.)

the other projects i will be concentrating on, in the medium term (three to six months) would be an effective DApps toolkit linked towards the SOIL network which would make development and deployment of smart contracts, for everyone, onto the SOIL network much more user friendly, and would be a first step towards a deployment of a GUI SOIL browser.

secondly, a commodity quote and charting DApp, which would eventually be folded into the SOILexchange, setting SOIL valuation against non-crypto futures and assets. that project may be much more challenging as we may need to navigate potential regulatory issues.

thirdly, (is that even a real word?), a decentralized voting process distributed application for voting, which will help create the democratic atmosphere we have envisioned from the beginning of this project, with a one oneSOIL/oneVote mechanism. thus far, DApps which allow a sort of vote taking relies on oneWallet/oneVote schemata, so work will need to be done on that architecture.

each step we take will be to further the blockchain towards the large scale DApps that will serve the industries that we will be concentrating our efforts towards, long term. naturally, some of these projects may be delayed due to technical issues or the need to concentrate our efforts on specific or requested needs of the community.

abvihael,
was it proposed earlier to do a stats page?
Ethereum and Expanse both have it and it is pretty cool to be able to look at some stats...
https://stats.ethdev.com/
http://stats.expanse.tech/

this sort of project has been brought up previously, and i agree that its a gorgeous interface, and provides a quick glimpse into the health of the system overall. ill definitely look into it after we have finished our immediate projects. its something ive glanced at, but havent kicked the tires or looked under the hood of.

i hope this basic roadmap for the next several months is helpful to those looking for such a thing. remember, YOU , the community, can help by deploying contracts onto the SOIL network yourselves. set up your personal tokens, that seems to be a popular first step into smart contracts many people take (im the proud owner of 100% of the one million BOBcoins that exist on the blockchain, essentially valueless right now, but was a great exercise in understanding the methods of deployment and calign of contracts onto the network) a FAQ or tutorial along those lines is also something i SHOULD be concentrating on in the near term as well, i suppose.

also, our android wallet is finished and working perfectly!

it will be available on the google play store as soon as we get the $25USD publisher fee paid out to google. im just waiting for my military pension cheque to come in before i can pay for that, but if anyone in the community wants to contribute towards that, i'd be eternally grateful. you could donate some SOIL towards the cost at:
0xe46731382fbc47621a6c480d4b6118026bbbcb3a
that is my publicly available developers reserve wallet address, and any contributor towards that could see and be comforted that we are using the funds for exactly the purpose we are stating. we are, as always, dedicated to utmost transparency regarding the SOILcoin project.

you could also donate any portion of BTC to my wallet at:
1H3xcVEZqPpAH4m8ULr6eh6aF3kpywc9Rw
we will need approximately 0.09BTC to make up the $25USD needed

or you could send any small amount of fiat via interac transfer to [email protected] as the payment must be made through a bricks and mortar bank or credit card. google doesnt accept BTC, the silly buggers.

just send me a personal message here at bitcointalk letting me know how much you have contributed. ill acknowledge any contributor here, and will bake you a batch of hero cookies. (chuckles)

we discussed using some of the funds from the community reserve for this purpose, selling it against the buy wall at bittrex, but both peter and myself felt this was the sort of thing that would require community input for such a withdrawl, and would be looking at approximately 8000 SOIL to achieve the $25USD needed to pay the publishers fee at google to be listed on the google play store. in any case, should we need to wait until my pension comes in, the android wallet should be up and available by end of next week.

I have a challange in mind for the first smart contract of SOIL:
I posted this:

Thx for this work! I tested coldwallet.soilcoin.xyz

Question: Is it posible to read wallet address and import the privkey from QR-codes of the SOIL coltwallet?
If not then better add that function first before publish the endroid wallet.
Maybe I donate 50% of BTC then.

The QR-code implementation will be added and I posted that I want to contribute 50%.

I read about spending "community reserve" for this $25 fee what is about 8000 SOIL.

What if I pay the 0.09BTC and get 4000 SOIL in return?
You can program that into a SOIL smart contract with me.
You can add some extra rules like time and exchange rate.
If the exchange rate of 0.045 BTC for 4000 SOIL is in 3 weeks is not reached I get 4000 SOIL.
If rate is more than 0.045 BTC value of SOIL I get value of 0.045 BTC SOIL.

Is this a nice deal?

It would be great to couple this with a rent contract system, something ethereum maybe capable of. All I can say is if you are gong to do genetic engineering I agree that it would be best to do it open source and non-profit.

Theoretically yes. For now I will not add new features until release. Based on community feedback I'm happy to add new features like your request in the future.

Without this QR-code feature the wallet has not much value. It is had to enter the wallet addresses you want to send coins to and also receiving coins is not an easy task. I think you beter reconsider adding this QR-code feature.

O.K. I will add the QR-code feature.

Just a quick announcement. In response to a community member asking about offline storage for SOIL last week, i ported over a simple to use paper wallet for SOILcoin. head on over to:
coldwallet.soilcoin.xyz
to access it. be sure to read the help file section on the page before you generate and print off a paper wallet. as always, this is a new application and like anything to do with cryptocurrency, its best to be prepared and cautious when doing anything relating to your coin balances. ive tested it out three or four times with small amounts of SOIL and have had no problems with it at all, but if you do have any questions, feel free to post here or on any of the SOIL links provided at the bottom of the help page and ill do my level best at helping alleviate them. thanks for the coldwallet go out to kvhnuke and tayvano who first presented this for Ethereum, and for encouraging us to import this over to SOILcoin. you can reach either of them by clicking on the links at the bottom of the main page.

also, our android wallet is finished and working perfectly!

Nice development! Great work!

im not sure i understand the syntax of your question, but we are getting much closer to having our full featured block explorer up and running. it WILL have the necessary components relating to real time monetary supply and real time available supply which is needed for full functionality at coinmarketcap.com. im HOPING we can have a finished product with similar information presentation to etherscan.io with links to exploring contract wallet addresses as well, which will make interaction with the DApps much more... user friendly..

im working on writing up a tutorial on how to deploy and interact with the smart contracts you fine folks write onto the blockchain, although once theres a browser-like app with a smooth GUI (whatever SOIL's version of something like what MIST will end up looking like for Ethereum) there should be a much easier deploy/query/call functionality for contracts. presently there isnt a good browser in the DAppshere running yet, but im constantly watching and interacting with other developers and their projects so that we can bring the important functions of a capable VM to the SOIL platform.

im also hoping to have the paper wallet figured out by end of the week for those who want the security of offline cold wallet storage. and the android wallet is nearly functional presently, so while there isnt a ton of daily updates, be sure theres still LOTS going on behind the curtain.

Good plans.
Maybe check this site for BlockExporers: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/faq.dws
I have good contact with [urlhttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=221182]fairglu [/url]and maybe can help to build a nice Etherium based Blockexplorer?
I donate 10kSOIL if fairgo is delivering a Blockexplorer for SOIL.

Glad to see good feelings here.

Case of Block explorer is a kind of long history so far.
It would be great to adport chainz into ETHEREUM's algo, however keeping my fingers crossed to make it real.

@abvhiael I think there is a flor now in the market and I have to move my buy orders to more realistic price to get some extra SOIL.
You must contact http://coinmarketcap.com/ becouse SOIL not to find there and it gives extra exposure.
Is there a blockexplorer?
What is the distribution scheme, how much SOIL is there and how fast growing?

we ARE listed on coinmarketcap.com, actually. unfortunately, the basic block explorer (explorer.soilcoin.xyz) is still the method of checking the system from the outside. our full market capitalization sits at a little over $2750 for all market available SOIL, based on the low price on the sell wall.. and this information isnt available there, yet, nor is the total *available* supply (which doesnt count the community or developers reserves). a fully featured explorer IS one of the major developments that we need implemented.. hence my learning the major programmatic languages involved with the Ethereum system. we did have an full-feature explorer set up, from another respected community member, but as we could only offer SOIL as a bounty for its use at the time, and they wanted 50% of the cost in BTC, we couldnt meet their price when the valuation of SOIL dropped to its floor.

at present we are on block#132323, which corresponds to 1,058,000 SOIL presently minted. this is beyond the distribution curve id hoped for at the beginning, with the target block time reduction from 35seconds to 15seconds, which was unexpected by myself.  this brings us closer to the 2million SOIL mintage, and the implementation of one SOIL, one vote" democracy that ive envisioned, much quicker. thus, the target block time, total mintage (hard cap of 33 million or perpetual mintage?) and other concerns will be in the hands of the community.

There's a deadline for implement a full block explorer or develop it depends only from when the SOIL price drop to its floor??

im not sure i understand the syntax of your question, but we are getting much closer to having our full featured block explorer up and running. it WILL have the necessary components relating to real time monetary supply and real time available supply which is needed for full functionality at coinmarketcap.com. im HOPING we can have a finished product with similar information presentation to etherscan.io with links to exploring contract wallet addresses as well, which will make interaction with the DApps much more... user friendly..

im working on writing up a tutorial on how to deploy and interact with the smart contracts you fine folks write onto the blockchain, although once theres a browser-like app with a smooth GUI (whatever SOIL's version of something like what MIST will end up looking like for Ethereum) there should be a much easier deploy/query/call functionality for contracts. presently there isnt a good browser in the DAppshere running yet, but im constantly watching and interacting with other developers and their projects so that we can bring the important functions of a capable VM to the SOIL platform.

im also hoping to have the paper wallet figured out by end of the week for those who want the security of offline cold wallet storage. and the android wallet is nearly functional presently, so while there isnt a ton of daily updates, be sure theres still LOTS going on behind the curtain.

hope all of you are having a wonderful week. its coming on winter here in atlantic canada, and theres been snow in the air a few times already... nothing thats stuck so far, but its only a matter of time... (sighs) the end of another surfing season... although the ocean here is getting too cold for even a drysuit now. great chop and surf but steel gray waters... (shivers, puts another log on the fire)
