Nova exchange has updated to the fork. They confirmed there is no loss of coins so feel free to start trading again. We will have the web wallet up today for everyone else.

you should wait until nova will move to new block chain. wallet is under maintenance.

Not offline, they are blocking some IP's due to attacks. Try using a VPN.

So, I can send my SOJ from my previous desktop wallet to the new one (v1.3) from now without risk, right?
Don't send coins from the old wallet. I have instructions on how to install the new wallet at the top of the OP. Sending coins on the old chain can result in a loss of coins.So, I can send my SOJ from my previous desktop wallet to the new one (v1.3) from now without risk, right?
My bad, I noticed your instructions about making a backup of our wallet.dat file that is located in the temp var %appdata% before proceeding to the .dat file importation into the new wallet. Moreover, I think of making use of the backup function that is integrated to the wallet.
Is it enough?
Note : I wasn't thinking of simply sending from my v1.1 wallet to a SOJ address created in the v1.3 wallet
Just make a copy of your old wallet.dat file before starting the new wallet and delete the Sojourn folder in %appdata%.
Then start up the new wallet, let it sync, shut it down and copy your old wallet.dat over the newly created wallet.dat and restart the wallet.
