It's great to see that we're finally moving forward with the fork , dissapointing that Nova acted like this , don't really understand what's happening with them , recently they just keep failing at customer support + the regular problems with tokens they have , I think it's in the community's best interests to move forward without them.

is it safe to withdraw coins from nova to wallet while the wallet is still stuck with 37 hours behind?
Yes just initiate the withdraw and we will solve the blocks within 24 hours to get needed confirmations.Novaexchange seems down for me? I have like 40k son so di don't want to lose them 😢
down how? inaccessible? maybe your ip banned bcs of recents attacks, try change ip or go VPN, booth worked for me
the site don't load, I try via Mac,iphone and ipad. in wifi and 4g..im from Europe (Italy). now I'm trying to use tor from usa.
edit: with tor I could connect and now I've withdrawn my coins to the web wallet

I have asked nova to restrict sojourn deposits to ensure nobody can send coins from the old chain after the fork.

Alright, we are going ahead with the fork without nova exchange. We need everyone to withdraw their coins from nova. We are renting hashpower to clear those transactions 24 hours from now. We will then release the new files on github. You may withdraw to either the web wallet or the desktop wallet.
Nova wallet seems to be under maintenance. Will my withdrawal work?
I was able to transfer to web wallet from nova exchange. Might take some time for confirmation though. Wallet says last block received from this date, not under maintenance.

Sorry for the noob question but will it be safe to buy coins on the Nova Exchange after the fork? I really want get some more but I'll wait till the fork is over.
I think you can buy on nova exchange after fork, when they adopt new blockchain. You have to wait until nova does that. But you can buy now in nova and transfer coins to web/desktop wallet ASAP before fork occurs...

Nova should be blacklisted from the official exchange list as it is not the 1st time it messes up with people since the TME case AFAIK.
Now the staff is completely ignoring the coin developers which is very annoying when having to proceed a fork.

Thats not the "under maintenance" symbol, its the "haven't received block" symbol. If you put through your transaction it will work once the hash power returns.
Meaning go ahead, it will work.
Getting pretty excited for this to happen
