since sovryn are aiming for Bitocracy, Risk Mitigation, Fee Collection, does that mean you will use an existing bitcoin on DeFi rather than build a new one?
or are you perhaps will build a new one with a new features inside of it?

One good side that made people believe about the project. Don't really see greedy with the benefits or capital that will be developed. Even though everything that is done costs money.

I do not know if only I have the impression that someone here is lobbying for hiring a specific person to find bugs?
I think developers are very well aware of the importance of software auditing and they certainly have the right options to do it. Actually, I cannot imagine developing such a project without the possibility of making an software audit.

Agreed, Sovryn is a new platform and bug bounties should be created to encourage more and more programmers and tester that are not involved in sovryn development progress to test the platform.
Remember about any programmer has their own way to test the platform. When we are having 10 people to test it and i do believe these people have their own formula.
Bug is really important to be discovered because it can give a very big impact to the platform. We know that if this is a lending platform too.

At first, it's a good news that team could collect necessary amount. At second, if they decided to paused deposits in order not to received spare money (and they definetly could continue their sells), it means that team of Sovryn project is honest, doesn't look for easy money.

Announcement: 9736 sats per SOV. Origin SOV token distribution schedule and Voting on SIP-006-amendment:

The Origin sale was oversubscribed. Sovryn paused deposits to the Origin sale in order to avoid receiving too many funds, which would necessitate many manually processed redemptions. In total, over 200 BTC was received. However, after accounting for donations and redemptions the total amount of BTC eligible for SOV distribution is 194.7. As a result, 5.29 BTC of the potential allocation remains unclaimed.
The team has reached a consensus that it is not worth reopening deposits to collect these 5.29 BTC, as that dev effort can be better spent on further development of the system, and onboarding new users to the platform who participated in the Origin sale.
Therefore it is proposed to distribute the allocated 2M SOV to the current set of depositors, this would set the effective price at 9736 sats per SOV.
Proposal
Resolved:
    1    Distribute 2,000,000 SOV to participants that deposited BTC in the Origins pre-deposit, at a clearing price of 9736 sats per SOV.
    2    No further changes to SIP-0006

Voting on SIP-006 will commence at 12:00 pm UTC tomorrow February 25th, and close at 12:00 pm UTS on Thursday February 26th.

After SIP-006 has passed, SOV Token distribution will be initiated between Monday March 1st and Tuesday March 2nd.

SOV holders will receive an email informing them that their tokens are claimable. rBTC are required on your wallet to pay transaction fees.

There will be a clearly labeled button in the sovryn dapp to claim your SOV.

Upon claiming your SOV, your account will be whitelisted to use the dapp.

Remember: Your claimed SOV will be vested (locked) in your portfolio until 26th March, after which they will become liquid (tradeable). Until then you can participate in voting on SOV SIPS, or use them on the dapp.

I advice you to join the telegram groupe and ask your qeustions there because things are a bit complicated and you need to ask admins...the group is full active and you will get answer in few moments from admins or investors

yes because in the Telegram group Sovrn was given directions, from the Matemask settings to changing the network and about sales, it was always updated in the community, it is important to join there to solve complaint problems, there the admin is happy to help

The origin sale is still on the way and there will be the last sale called the evolution sale and it may only accept ethereum as the payment consider sovryn wants to build ethereum bridge and sov will be available on ethereum platform too soon. I hope that you can join the sovryn telegram group to get the latest update about the sale. The origin sale is not yet done btw.

By the way, how about the progress of the token sale? has it started or not? if it has reached the expected target, sorry I didn't follow the development of this project so I don't know how far the Sovryn project has progressed

That's correct. I think that you must also noted this if your ERC20 address will be activated on the RSK mainnet when you have been sending something to your wallet just like RBTC. It doesn't require a lot of rbtc.
Your address will be showing on RSK explorer when you have ever deposited RBTC to your walelt.
You must have noted this as so many people are still confusing about the correct procedure to use their wallet on RSK mainnet.

Ok, so the ERC20 address works for both networks. Just to see what we have in the RSK network (SOV token) we need to switch it in Metamask and the same way we have to do to see other Ethereum tokens? Correct?

No, the RSK address is already there. You just need to setup the RSK feature at Metamask to access the address. You can do that whenever you want.
