it seems you can choose the rsk network using metamask.

Yes, but you have to manually set it up.

There is something I don't understand fully with this project and I will appreciate if any can explain further and clearer for me.
What blockchain is the project hosted on?
I saw sike update about erc-20 of metamask, the project is already mainet launch, how will the transactions run in their chain and what is going to be use as gas fee. I can see erc-20 and Sametime RPC nextwrok. It's confusing at the same time.

RSK not RPC, Sovryn is currently on rsk network from what I understand  the reason why you will need some rbtc for transaction fees, for the erc20, I read they are planning to have sovryn on erc20 as well but that will be in the near future, I think the metamask thing is what is making some people to be confused, it seems you can choose the rsk network using metamask.
All details can be found on their official telegram group.

does my internet network have a problem? I can't access the website you provided. Or this website can't be opened?
I think it's not a website address for us to access, it's an RPC address for us to set up the network in metamask.

So, but how to use it you can explain in detail to me? I don't really understand the details about it and maybe I find out in the telegram group this project.

Can someone tell me what the benefit is of holding SOV? I have understood (hopefully correctly) that holding SOV gives you right to a certain percentage of transaction costs. Will these be paid in BTC? And I understand that there will still be a public sale? Or should we understand the Origin sale as the public sale?

I cant find twitter account to this project

Available at website: https://twitter.com/SovrynBTC

What about the road map can you help me find it? other than that, is there any detailed information about the token sale time?

We anticipate holding the token sale towards the end of the bounty program

Well I hope you can anticipate and make a prompt decision because the timing seem to be right for the token sale, people are already anxious and waiting for the sale to kickoff,  the market is bullish as it seems and being on the exchange at the right time will help the project greatly.

Dear Sovryns,

The Origin pre-deposit allocations are nearing completion and we expect the last batch of emails to go out within the next 10 hours. The number of deposits received has been much higher than anticipated and it now looks likely that all of the 2M SOV tokens available for this phase will be allocated via pre-deposits.

Yesterday we started sending invitations to users on the Origin waitlist at a rate of 480 per hour. Due to the size of the email list, it has taken some time to invite all who signed up to participate. This was a deliberate decision to try to slow the deposit phase down and avoid the fomo that plagues other projects.

In addition we imposed a deposit cap of 0.1BTC per address to ensure equal distribution and greater decentralisation. Participants could also access a ‘redeem’ button to remove the finality of deposits. With these measures in place the pre-deposits have been able to progress in a slow and steady manner.

We are now nearing the end of the pre-deposit phase and have a little over 4,000 emails left to go. We intend to close the pre-deposits with 1% of allocation left, this will be to enable staff, volunteers, and those who have generously donated their time over the past weeks.

Over the last 24 hours we have seen more than 50% of those who opened the email proceeding to deposit funds. This is a great indicator that we are growing a strong and engaged community of Sovryn individuals that support the protocol. Welcome to you all, we are very pleased to have you with us on this journey.
Stay tuned for further announcments.

===

The SOV token has launched today, Feb 12, 2021. Congrats to all of the Sovryn protocol's contributors & backers.

will this project create a bitcoin blockchain network? then when I searched for reward tokens for bounty participants they asked for the eth erc-20 address, I was a little confused by the Sovryn platform network
I thought yes, this project will create their own network, because after I searched from the blackpaper I found no words that this project will use the ERC20 network

So how do they do transactions with people who are interested in this project? can the news be confirmed? but I prefer to see the next news from the questions people here.
you have to set it manually in matemask,
see the description below, if you are still confused you can ask the telegram community

New RPC URL: https://mainnet.sovryn.app/rpc

This will allow higher throughput, be more reliable, and will be compatible with new features

I'm actively watching sovryn telegram group and someone has asked this too. It looks like the team will try to consider it on the TGE. The team might add another kind of crypto currencies as the payment to participate in TGE.
It needs the time for the team to think about that. Basically, it's not so difficult to participate on the pre-sale use bitcoin.
I have been putting small money on it.

Here are the steps to Pre-deposit in Origin:

Pre-deposit start time:  Thursday 11th February

1. Receive email confirming you have been randomly selected
2. Go to the link
3. Connect you RSK wallet to the dapp (this is where you will receive your SOV after pre deposits)
4. Enter your email address that you received the email to.
5. Confirm you are Sovryn
6. Click to generate a BTC deposit address
7. Send BTC to that address from a wallet other than your connected RSK wallet (sending from exchanges is not advised)
8. Receive confirmation of you Origins Pre -order deposit
9. Kick back and think of everyone else praying the random generator picks them next

You can only pre deposit BTC

You can only deposit upto 0.1 BTC

Any deposits higher than 0.1 BTC will be considered as donations to the Sovryn protocol for which we are extremely grateful

**Warning:  Pre-deposit will only conduct at https://origin.sovryn.app
do not deposit any funds to any other sources. Sovryn Team members will never DM or Email you and ask you to send funds directly.**

The RSK blockchain is accessible from Metamask and other wallets like Nifty.
However, dev team is exploring options given the ETH>BTC bridge capacity
A Metamask wallet serves both scenarios
Is it true ? I just found out now that metamask supports RSK networks, how to set up ?
