It was the Bitcointalk forum that inspired us to create Bitcointalksearch.org - Bitcointalk is an excellent site that should be the default page for anybody dealing in cryptocurrency, since it is a virtual gold-mine of data. However, our experience and user feedback led us create our site; Bitcointalk's search is slow, and difficult to get the results you need, because you need to log in first to find anything useful - furthermore, there are rate limiters for their search functionality.
The aim of our project is to create a faster website that yields more results and faster without having to create an account and eliminate the need to log in - your personal data, therefore, will never be in jeopardy since we are not asking for any of your data and you don't need to provide them to use our site with all of its capabilities.
We created this website with the sole purpose of users being able to search quickly and efficiently in the field of cryptocurrency so they will have access to the latest and most accurate information and thereby assisting the crypto-community at large.

Is this one of the SP20's at your house? It looks like it will need the SD recovery. If the actual mnt path is gone like wh00per stated earlier it seems to have owned that part of the system. I can't remember the exact fsck command for this version of *nix. Even then I think it will be a lot more of a pain to do vs running the SD recovery.

update:
I have successfully applied the recover from sd card (got christmas lights)
restarted the miner and it starts mining correctly itself now (no need to ./cgminer in ssh)
but still no GUI
it's mining on slush, I can see the worker hashrate OK on slush website
puzzling situation, not having GUI isn't a severe issue, I am happy to leave the miner at slush,
just annoying. I blame the dead S5.

i had the same issue with my first sp20, never got the xmas tree lights and it took 3 attempts at sd recover but finally came back.
weird bcoz sp30 sd recover worked 1st time, with alt-xmas lights...
at least its hashing away, let us know your 24hr avg on slush as & when.
all seems well. I may go back to it and try sd recovery again - maybe tomorrow
after managing to run cgminer manually, i babysat it last night so it's been going ~24hrs
i've never had to babysit an SP-Tech miner but having no GUI isn't a big problem, happy to have it on slush for variance, it just means i can't put it back to mmpool (pool now at 300TH ;D ) via pool options in GUI to ramp up shares on new block round start - i like to fire all 10TH to mmpool early in a round to keep my earnings up.
anyway - ho-hum... i'll do another sdrecovery maybe tomorrow and report back. It's my turn to cook family dinner so i'm concentrating on that today, got the old folks coming round later.

You should be able to modify the pools by editing the cgminer config file.
SSH to log in to your miner, and then use: vi /etc/cgminer.conf.template
yeah i presumed i could just run the full cgminer command line but it doesn't - it still takes it from the .conf
i may give the .conf change a bash when mmpool solves the next block
will let you know

For an easier life you can also use winscp to edit the files
