Sorry to see that you stopped your nice business Guy, any further explanation?

From what I've read in BTCS, Inc's latest filing (Form 8-K as of May 5th), it appears bankruptcy (though I may be misinterpreting, so clarification from Spondoolies would be appreciated). From the form:

Quote
Item 8.01 Other Events.

On May 5, 2016, BTCS Inc. (the “Company”) was informed that, on May 4, 2016, a hearing was held in the district court (the “Court”) in Beersheva, Israel during which certain parties sought appointment of a temporary liquidator for Spondoolies Tech Ltd. (“Spondoolies”). As a result of the hearing, the Court appointed a temporary liquidator and the judge presiding over the proceedings set a hearing for July 14, 2016, at least one week prior to which a certificate of information must be filed with the Court as required in the applicable regulations. The Company is seeking a conference with the temporary liquidator.

At the present time, there can be no assurance that the Company’s pending acquisition of Spondoolies can be effectuated and is examining what claims, if any, it may have in connection with such acquisition and the Company’s prior investments in Spondoolies.

So I got the email this morning along with many of you I presume.

Guy, even though I only purchased a single miner from SP-Tech (an SP10 back in May of 2014), you, Zvisha and the rest of the crew will be missed.

Best of luck in whatever the future holds for you.

I will keep the thread open for now.
If it will turn into trollfest, I'll close it.

Guy

this means we will not see any sp50?
what a pitty
probably best asic miner hardware everytime...

They 'merged' with BTCS which from what I understand has "sole' use of their SP 50's if they exist yet.....(any correction on this welcome)

So Spondoolies...'mreged' and took the money and ran....(hey no shame in that) but they are not into personal miners or heck any public for sale miners anymore from

They received $2.25M from BTCS, that's a significant amount.

How do I change the value of the maximum temperature of 61 ° C that has the SP35?

I want to change because I'm doing oil cooling and need just turn up to 62 or 63.

Chips trabjan at 85 ° C - 100 ° C without problem.
But the whole entire team works above 60 ° C.

I wonder if there is any option to change the thermal protection of the SP35 60 team.

Since I am using in mining submerged in oil.
The results are still very good for the chip of around 100 ° C-105 ° C.
With minimal noise levels.
Which is much appreciated.

But the total liquid temperature fluctuates between 45 ° C to 62 ° C.

After two days of work you can reach 62 ° C or at specific times of the day.

How do I change the temperature of the thermal protection?

Greetings and thanks.

I personally suspect some big miners in china to regulate the market this way, and therefore keep the rest of the world outside of the mining business.

Miners would still make more money in a more competitive mining scene but with a higher BTC price. All your costs are fixed to $ but your income is BTC based.

That only applies if all miners can live with each other in a consens.

Strategy: I want to be the biggest miner in the town for the next 4 years until the next halving.
Tactic: Have the lowest costs, reduce the outcome of BTC under a certain level, build my own mining gear, do some research to gain a technological advantage and try to take out your opponent over that.

I do believe, that large farms and companies like bitfury and bitmain already have this technological advantage, also spondoolies does that, just take a look at the 0,15J spondoolies chips, bitfury claims to be under 0,1J and i do believe that bitmain has these capabilities also. Maybe not in the timeframe as the other two, cause they simply do not have to think about energy costs, nature protection and on occupational health and safety  as much as the others do.

I don't know what the bitfury 12PH container costs, but i believe its somewhere arround $2,000,000.00
I also do not know how many of these are sold already, but i do believe a small home miner that costs you 0,075$/GH shipped after the halving will give you some extra money for your development, and puts some pressure on your opponent, still you are working one generation ahead.

To come to your argument.
When BTC was firstly under $300, several miners stopped their business, some picked up later, some didn't. If you want to regulate, you have to have the majority of the power, else you are not able to do that. I believe bitmain has this power, and i would endorse the opponents still standing to not just think in industry scale because this represents a single point of failure in my honest opinion and as a technician speaking, this is not a good idea for your own business  Roll Eyes

SPONDOOLIES-TECH, i would endorse you to sell Miners for the "Home Miner" in large scale at under 0,15$/GH shipped before the halving and 0,075$/GH after the halving!

You may ask, why this crazy guy wants you to do so, well i'll try to give you an answer to this.

Every time the price hits 2795, somebody sells a large portion of BTC to keep the price under this level, and that seems to be a succesful strategy. I personally suspect some big miners in china to regulate the market this way, and therefore keep the rest of the world outside of the mining business. That sounds somewhat like a monopol, and i truely do believe that is the case (i think you guys know that too, so no surprise here).

BITMAIN is the largest ASIC manufacturer and miner at present it seems, and BITMAIN is getting more and more the dictator of this business, so the natural strategy should be to change this.

What can you guys do to make that happen?

1.) Build a Miner for "Home Miners" with a price less than 0,15$/GH shipped, and a power consumption less than 1600 watts each, to keep that thing running at home.
2.) Offer a bulk sale in logarithmic steps, so small mining farms are able to buy at decent prices to grow.
3.) Offer a great support to your customers, and i believe you will be sold out in a few days.

On the long run that builds a counter part to BITMAIN and we will see a shift from china to the rest of the world in small steps, but we will see it. Secondly it will lift you on top of the market, and take some air from BITMAIN to breathe. Thirdly, and i believe this will happen, all after that the price of BTC will hold a steady level (at the moment speaking, this is left to market makers as BITMAIN is one)

Conclusion: Support the home miner and you will get some strategic pressure on the guys from China

My simplistic response: Yawn...............................

I appreciate your posting this info, but unfortunately it adds nothing beyond what BTCS has been spouting for well over 9 months. There is also nothing regarding Spondoolies hardware beyond the general platitudes of "Vertical integration.....market leader in hardware.....well positioned....". It also sounds like they may well "consummate" this merger sometime in the next quarter (which kinda sounds like BFL's infamous "two more weeks"). The BTCS CEO doesn't inspire me with confidence at all.

If the stock price for BTCS doubles, I will be just about be back to what I paid for it. As with BTC in general, don't invest more than you can afford to lose.

It's a real shame I think to see the Spondoolies engineering talent get dissipated like this (IMHO).

Not a shame at all, they got greedy & it's bitin them in the ass. It's karma baby  Cheesy

ALH:
Totally agree with you about the BTCS CEO.  All the hype about the NC data center, and now they are selling equipment.  Spondoolies as been out of it so long, they will be starting from scratch again.  Now they are talking about doing Ethereum, which is a totally different avenue.  It's like lets try this and that, and hope something works.

This little news release was to just do more hype trying to get new investment.  I looked into it at one time, and did not like the EDGAR filings at all.

IMHO, they will be just another bankrupt bitcoin company within 18 months.

Bitcoin Mining Hosting
Hi, I have a SP35.
My problem is that suddenly without touching anything left to connect to the pool.
Besides not let me connect by ip for time to pass.

Although I put admin and admin.
Just go back to ask me the username and password again.

If I cancel 401 fails.

But if I put my username and password does not fail. Simply ask me again.

Does it appear like its actually mining (heat, power consumption, constant noise)? Does it reset itself every 2-3 minutes (loud fan cycles)?
Fixed with SD card recovery.
If it happens again I shall suspect intrusion on the network.
But for now it is working.

not sure if this helps, but i've found that when admin / admin doesn't work goto https://IP and do it again. Ignore the no SSL warnings, then I'm in. with SP20s reaching their ends, I'm less interested in pursuing some of the "new" bugs that have come up with age.
