BTW: Has anybody got a spare PSU for an SP10 for sale?
Later Edit:  A capacitor exploded and caught fire. Sad Not sure if I can power this board up any more as it might have shorts in that hole .. The top board looks fine though ... the heatsink is black a little, but I guess the rest is ok. Would an exploded capacitor be dealt with by SPT?

This is how it works with the top board only. There was no dust to dust off after 16 months of operation. Awesome design.

It is funny that the 12V power to the hashing boards comes through 2 screws and it needs the bottom board distancers to screw in (nut).
Some crazy glue and two regular nuts did it instead.

SP5 confirmed?

Looking for a SP20E Blade ... In Canada would be awesome, I have an offer from the US, but 60$(us dollard) of shipping is just really annoying.

Thanks !

PM me ;-)

Honestly that seems pretty fair I would jump on it.  With btc being higher now and S5 going up just look at what SP20's are bringing on ebay.

And considering where SP20 was originally made..... us to canada is pretty close compared to that miners original journey Smiley

60$ only for the shipping Tongue

EDIT: the blade price is all good, just the shipping is just ... Sad

Ohhh that does make a big difference. I was thinking 60 for the blade itself.

But yea that is a little pricey on shipping for 1 blade.  Are you doing really quick shipping or something?

No, it's coming from me via standard ground.  The issue is that shipping from TX to Canada just is really expensive via USPS/FedEx/UPS.  Come to think of it, I never checked DHL, perhaps they'd be more reasonable...

So no one knows anything about 2.7.1 vs. 2.6.14?

Look back to page 654. I didn't find anything compelling.

Please help us to sort out the problem. Periodically fall off one board with an error, which show the figure.

SP20

Try to lower the voltage for that loop. 0,68 - 0,73 and give him a rest before you try again (let it cool down)

From my humble experience, doesn't look good.

What I'm hoping for is they build a great miner.  And most likely it will be designed for big mining facilities, which is not a bad thing  there.  I don't know i they will do personal sales I agree on that. I hope but do not know.

What I hope is if they cannot do personal sales, then we will get a GB to buy some.   Might take quite a few to get them to do it but if like past GB normally work well with SP gear.

ASIC Wannabe

$300 is likely equal to SP3X being breakeven to run with 14 cent electric?   Is that about correct?

SP31 = 4.7TH @ 3kW (wall).
3kW @ 0.14/kwh = ~$300/month (+/- $30 for different fees and taxes)
4.7TH = 0.047BTC/day = 1.41BTC/month = $>$420

the machine still makes about $120+ profit monthly and at relatively ineeficient settings. (~0.7w/GH as opposed to ~0.55w/GH at 3.0 TH)
