It's SHA. Just use like cgminer
You can do setgenerate true in the Qt and you might get lucky. Difficulty is pinned to 1.0
I have the premine, so I'm not mining any. The blocks are definitely still soloable very easily

It doesn't matter, it's only 1% of coins in PoW. Not even worth it really...
i understand but it is always good to atract other and new people to crypto and give them a change to mine with the big guys

I've updated the Github and hardcoded checkpoints every 5000 blocks up to 20k
Here's a Windows wallet with the same, give it a try. I suggest syncing from Block 1 if you use it: http://www.primechain.website/CIONZ/CIONZ-Windows-20000.zip

i was synced fine for a while now. nothing i do will sync it now. tried all steps said here. any more nodes out there? none of the listed ones work.
1. Wipe everything in your COINZ folder except wallet.dat and COINZ.conf
2. Remove all addnodes in COINZ.conf except 70.92.184.203
3. Download the latest wallet and bootstrap files posted by Spots a few posts back
4. UnRAR the bootstrap files and put the two files (blkindex.dat and blk0001.dat) in the folder where your wallet.dat is
5. Run the wallet. It will jump to the last block in the bootstrap and will sync with the nodes from there.
did that and it dies at last block with 0 connections.

LoL it is almost more difficult to get a block at a difficulty of 1 than at a high difficulty. Sounds like a paradox.
You're telling me, I didn't get too many mining yet. I only have the old ass 335 MHS USB miners without stratum though lol.. Are you synced up now?

igotspots, when are you going to sell your 99% stash? 
I don't know, maybe right away if needs liquidity, maybe later on if it does alright. Maybe never at all and I'll just use it to inflate the market cap..
