BitJohn said the coins would be looked into when they have completed the data center move, and that they want to support them.  The data center move was completed a while ago, and I have sent him a message about week ago.  As yet he has not replied, maybe they are just very busy.

I've switched to mining UFC on your pool, dreamwatcher but the payouts got stuck over night. I sent you an email but had to use a bogus email because the field is too short for my address. I have nothing confirming and zero unconfirmed.

Fixed. MPOS needed an update to the proportional payout cron, due to an issue with orphan blocks.

The cron would shutdown and lock itself from running if the pool had both an orphan block and the solved block of the same height in the database. It would think there was a double payment.

I have updated the cron and payouts have gone out.

POOL UPDATE:

The Federation Credit pool is back online. Vardiff will be implemented at a later date.

The site is surely snappier, thanks for the update.
Btw, I think Mr. Stingy Pants is currently hitting the pool again.

what's the word on the exchange/cryptsy?

"VERY soon"tm   Grin Grin Grin

Yes, unfortunately, I'm only as good as other peoples word.   Roll Eyes

Or take a page from other devs who actually care to promote their coins and make more than one appearance every couple of weeks and send more than one email to one exchange. Honestly, do you really feel you've put forth ANY effort at all? If you do, I feel incredibly sad for you.

POOL UPDATE:

The Federation Credit pool is back online. Vardiff will be implemented at a later date.

All accounts that did not have a payout address will be manually credited within the next couple of days to the new database. This goes for both GPL and UFC pools.

All accounts and pool workers have been transferred over, there is no need to re-register.

POOL UPDATE:

The Gold pressed Latinum pool is back online. Due to low difficulty, I was unable to get vardiff to work correctly. In light of the decreasing miner efficiency due to the rising N-factor, I have reduced the pool difficulty to 10.I still need to do some fine tuning as far as hash rate on the dash board, but this is display only. The dashboard does not effect shares and payout.

I will work to get the UFC mine up ASAP as I ran into a bit of trouble with it, vardiff may have to wait on that pool also   Embarrassed

Announcement:

Both the UFC and GPL pools will be down for a little bit today. I will be updating both front and back-ends.

I will try to make the down time as small as possible.

The UFC pool will be moving to a vardiff system, I am unsure if I will be able to convert the GPL pool to vardiff.

I hope these updates will will improve efficiency. The front ends will definitely be improved.

I will trigger a mass payout before the pools go down. All accounts and pool_workers will transfer over to the new front end version. However, balances will not.

Before I bring one of the pools down I will reset everybody's' auto-payout to 1 and trigger the cron. Any accounts without a payout address will have the balance manually placed in the new database within a day or two.

I have successfully preformed this update on my Goldcoin pool and I anticipate no problems with UFC and GPL which are much smaller pools.

I do not know if they intend to support the coins any longer, but I will re message bitJohn and ask again.  As for our exchange, unfocus is working on it, but bear in mind he has a full time job and a personal life.

We (me, dreamwatcher and unfocus) are looking at other possibilities at present.   Shad3dOne has setup a development room on his forum.  we will be posting there with updates and plans to move forward.

As for KED the code is almost ready for the relaunch.  Dreamwatcher and unfocus would like to relaunch sooner rather than later, but I wanted to take my time.  I personally don't see any reason to rush on the relaunch, but I do see their point that to delay too long will be harmful.

the UFC website will be up and running by the weekend, with links to pools, forum, downloads, block-explorer.  and The GPL site soon after.

You're doing alright man, just keep it up and things will pick up for sure!  Better to delay KED relaunch to make it as smooth as possible.  You guys are all doing a great job and if I had coding experience, I would offer to help!

In GPL code:

Code:
unsigned int nStakeMinAge = 60 * 60 * 24 * 365

Does this mean that our coins have to sit for a year before they accumulate stake? Please say it isn't so...

^This... I have coins since release and no stake generated... Also, what's the word on the exchange/cryptsy?

It certainly does, but look on the bright side!  People holding on for a long time to coins, increases the value.  Also as GPU's become inefficient over time, people may choose to mine a scrypt-jane coin as a "second" coin on a mining machine.

I see it like this... 1 PC running SHA_256 Asic (that needs a host machine), scrypt GPU and scrypt-jane CPU all at the same time.  It possible and is a way to make mining more efficient.

you could mine,  Cubits or Bitcoin, UFC or Litecoin and GPL or YAcoin all on the same PC at the same time.

But in answer to the original question,  yes it's a long time to wait I know, but it will decrease coin availability.
