yes, thats right and not only storj coin, but another coin too
here the source from binance on twitter

Is this the old STORJ token on the Counterparty chain or the new token on the Ethereum blockchain?

Does anyone know any exchange where you can trade the old tokens on the counterparty chain?

STORJ is the Ethereum token, Counterparty token was SJCX.

What's the difference between storj and many others, including filecoin, arweave, sia, and so on?

It is a bit more serious than the rest, but still too many bugs, issues. Too complex and fragile to manage..

dear admins/devs, please review
Quote
•   Architected two Distributed Storage System prototypes built on a network of 15 Raspberry Pi-3 nodes and 3 Ubuntu servers. Automated installers/updaters were created for both Storj and IPFS private networks. IPFS won-out as a final solution due to requirements for a robust CDN with DRM (i.e. Widevine).

storj has serious team and conviction in the token see post/roadmap:
        https://storj.io/blog/2018/12/an-overview-of-tokens-uses-flows-and-policies-at-storj-labs/

that said, they compete with big boys eg AWS, yet the same gurantees eg 99% uptime is NOT enough for enterprise grade, thus need for higher gurantees 99.99% etc. Therefore they hobby gui can for the aim storj goes for not participate (hdd wise Smiley - enterprise grade

Yes I think also so. Storj is one of the less crypto projects with a real working product behind.

Do somebody think the Storjtoken will increase in 2020

Why not it is still in the game the devs are working hard to make this platform more effective and more big space for decentralized data storage. I hope next push will be helpful to catch the streak in upward direction so have patience to see what happen next.

A few months ago I made some calculations and according to them, It was not possible for Storj to exist as it was advertised:
"any computer can be used, by just landing some of your disk and bandtwidth". Nobody from the devs reflected on this.
The only thing Storj could be useful for was archiving of rarely used data.

Then suddenly a new requirement appeared where you need either SSDs or a server grade HDDs with pretty good bandwidth and a huge
demand for 200+GB of monthly traffic.

THen the Windows Desktop app was removed and Docker was introduced. This requires a command line experience, frequent Docker updates,
complex debugging of Storj and also complex (for a regular Windows enduser, since Windows is the most common OS in the world) upgrades.

Now tell me: how many home users match the above criteria?

While completely understanding the great idea of the devs, the strong point of Storj is not that anyone can share his HDD, but the distributed data. Which soon will also not be a very strong point, since all big cloud companies are building more and more Data centers, so they can achieve the redundancy level which Storj now has.

Then the only strong point of Storj would be the price. While Amazon or Google can afford to lower their prices for cloud (to increase adoption) for one year, Storj cannot afford this. So this would be the end of it (if nothing new comes to dev's minds).

I am a home user. And with docker it is so easy. I think storj aim not the home users desktop PC. I have a QNAP NAS. Did 2 docker commands and I am sharing from home 8 TB.
