I guess this one is optional, not mandatory, right?
I said this because you stated that the newest version contains minor fixing for the core vulnerability.
Anyway, STRAKS users should update as soon as possible to the newest version of wallet.

Any verification or personal info required just seems to go against what the majority of crypto projects support.

But telegram also requires phone verification, perhaps projects should try other forums to share info that don't require phone numbers.

It's not set in stone, and there has been a lot of SPAM as of late, we are trying to figure out a way to reduce the noise. The verification occurs at the account level with Discord. We (the straks team) do not have access to that information.
