Nice dex but yea looking forward to have the coins I am interested in running as spv's as downloading all the chains is quite fickle

The setup is in the process of being automated/abstracted so it's much easier and streamlined to use for beginners. In addition to that, in July we are planning to release SPV support which will allow for the creation of litewallets so whole blockchains will not need to be downloaded

Welcome to the first STRAKS 7 for 7.  The 7 for 7 is intended to provide the cryptocurrency community at large with a quick and easy to read rundown of recent events related to STRAKS and the wider cryptocurrency sector at large.

STRAKS Bounties
To encourage community involvement the STRAKS Team announced a bounty program in early June. We have extended the bounty program through July 31st, 2018. If found to be a successful means of growing the community we will consider extending the bounty program, and evaluate the rewards offered on a monthly basis.

I see straks is also a masternode coin, but couldn't see on the first page or website what the mining vs masternode split is. How are the masternode and mining rewards distributed?

Just noticed that Binance and Bittrex are following Straks on Twitter.

For a right now only 1 million market cap coin this should be good signs for the future. I augur from this that they both may consider to add Straks perhaps.
In general I am of the opinion that they wont follow Straks if they thought it would be totally crap or just another coin.

Besides I really like the project too without this twitter fact.

STRAKS project has strong team, but it need marketing campaigns to get more people joining the project.
If this happen, it will help lifting liquidity of STRAKS up.

I also hope to see a helpful services for e-commerce, too.
If it happen, STRAKS might rise considerably because it has dropped to very long price range (as you can see via the following chart, which I got from CMC: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/straks/)
