SUREREMIT MARKETING CAMPAIGN

In the past months, we have signed many new global partnerships and we’re approaching full integration of them all. Therefore we’re now preparing an extensive, high impact marketing campaign to be launched on June 1st. 2019. The aim of this campaign is to create more (crypto) awareness for SureRemit and the services we provide globally, attracting more app users in the process. As of June 1st. 2019 we will push 1 country daily, making the merchants for that specific country available to SureRemit app users. Due to current and upcoming country/merchant integration activities, the campaign should run approx. 2 - 3 weeks. To support our efforts, we’ll be working with a crypto marketing firm for Social Media Marketing & Content Marketing, which includes postings of the daily Country announcements and other SureRemit related articles on many well-known crypto websites/platforms. We’ll also reach out to you, our community, asking for your support during this campaign, more information follows.

SureRemit App updates

We have now added PayPal as a payment option for iOS and Android! All works smoothly, although some iOS users might experience some framing issues due to PayPal web view & iFrame. There’s not much we can do about that, it doesn’t affect the process at all. We have also pushed an app update for Android solving some reported bugs.

Busha

We have intensified cooperation with Busha to fulfill the backend integration of SureRemit app transactions. Busha is further developing its front end (marketplace) to facilitate SureRemit backend integration.

SureRemit App updates
In the past 2 weeks, some app users experienced issues while purchasing RMT in-app. Some of those issues are now solved by us, unfortunately, other issues are not within our power to solve. Because of this, we have decided to add PayPal as a payment option. We’re currently working on the integration and aim to have PayPal available for Android and iOS by Monday 6th of May 2019. Having PayPal as an additional payment option, users who still experience credit card issues can alternatively use PayPal to purchase RMT in-app. To provide all of our app users with a fair chance to participate in the Bonus Program, we have also decided to extend the RMT Bonus Program for 2 weeks, now ending on 20th May 2019 at 12.00 CEST. The total amount of RMT tokens allocated to the Bonus Program (bonus + tokens sold) will be increased from 5 million to 7.5 million RMT. The Bonus Program ends when either all tokens are sold or on the aforementioned date and time, whichever comes first.


Due to the above, the planned App update of last week is pushed to the coming week.


NEW MERCHANTS/MARKETS

We’re working with one of our partners to go live with our global offering (approx. 1k new merchants of this partner alone). Both our tech teams are cooperating on integrating the various countries & merchants into one central API and we aim to go live in the first week of June 2019. We have developed a marketing campaign around this event, and we’ll update you all when the live date is coming closer. As mentioned in the previous update, more partners (South East Asia) are in the pipeline.

We hoped to push the Turkish merchants this week but due to administrative processes, earliest we can do is beginning of next week. We’re ready to go and awaiting the live API keys, we’re told that this is arranged on Monday/Tuesday.

SureRemit App updates
In the coming week we’ll push an App update which resolves some reported bugs. Work on improving the app regarding user experience, design improvements and the development of more features, continues.
We’re aware that some USA card holders are experiencing issues trying to purchase tokens in-app. We’re discussing with the Payment Processor if we can re-calibrate some fraud prevention filters to resolve the issue. In the meantime, we’re determining if we can integrate PayPal as a payment option in-app. We’ll update on this process coming week.


NEW MERCHANTS/MARKETS
A Non Disclosure Agreement is now signed with a potential partner for South East Asia, we’ll be analyzing their offering and start the process of cooperation.

Good news! Turkish merchants will go live in the coming week (administrative processes pending), adding a substantial amount of new merchants to our platform. We continue to cooperate with our partner for the global offering, hoping to finalize a few countries/markets next week.

We’ve also signed a partnership with the largest Pharmacy chain in Nigeria: HealthPlus. We’ll add the HealthPlus voucher to the app in the coming weeks.

SureRemit App updates
Due to last week’s release of in-app RMT purchasing, some bugs popped up. This week we’ve resolved them and all is working smoothly now. In the upcoming weeks we’ll be working on improving the app regarding user experience, design improvements and the development of more features.

Busha
Busha is currently in the process of adding lots of trade pairings (incl. more RMT pairings). We’ll co-announce when the pairings are available. Work on backend integration is continuing, we’ll update on the progress.

NEW MERCHANTS/MARKETS
The integration of the global merchant offering continues, working with various partners and integrating their systems requires more time to make sure the (backend) processes are setup correctly. We expect to launch vouchers for new markets/countries in the next 2 weeks and will make announcements across board when a country/countries go live. We’re working on integrating merchants on practically all the continents.

StreetLib
A few weeks ago we announced our partnership with StreetLib, authors globally are able to receive their royalty payments in RMT. A Streetlib voucher is now being created which can be redeemed in the StreetLib Shop. Once the voucher is live we’ll announce.

The fee for purchasing services on our platform is zero. We don't charge a single penny on purchase of goods and services on the sureremit application.


Yes, we allow purchases through Debit and Credit card on the application. The application charges the user for purchase of RMT tokens in form of USD. The fees on purchase through Debit/Credit card is charged by card companies and depends on the card type you use. While many cards don't charge any fee but at the same time many credit card companies charge currency conversion and other charges depending on card type. Please check before going through with the transaction.

You can always purchase RMT tokens through our exchanges and send those to the application wallet for no fees.

Turkey, Europe & USA
We’re finalizing the API testing for the Turkish merchants and integration for European and USA merchants have now also started. We aim to have them all available by the end of next week.

SwychCard
We’ll be adding the SwychCard for USA and India to the SureRemit platform. Users can purchase the SwychCard and redeem the value in the Swych App, choosing any available merchant they like. It’s a nice addition to the SureRemit platform as the SwychCard is a good in-between solution compared to sending merchant specific vouchers and cash remittances. Integration is now underway and testing commences mid next week.

TECH
SureRemit App updates
Despite the previous green light to go live, we unfortunately, encountered some bugs in the interface during exceptions testing. As we’ve built a customized solution, we had no choice but to postpone pushing the app update. We’re fixing the bugs and aim to push the Android an iOS updates this weekend or early next week.

MARKETING
As our global merchant catalog is growing exponentially, we’re preparing marketing activities for the various markets. We’ll do some test runs and amend accordingly based upon results.

Binance Labs
Leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance is expanding its activities on the African continent and recently established Binance Labs in Lagos, Nigeria. Our co-founders ‘Laolu Samuel-Biyi and Adeoye Ojo have been asked to join as mentors and will provide support to entrepreneurs entering the African crypto landscape. A milestone is reached, in-app RMT purchasing is now available for Android and iOS! You can now easily purchase RMT with your debit/credit card and purchase vouchers, mobile airtime and pay bills. It’s possible that some bugs might surface due to this update, please let us know and we’ll fix them immediately. We thank you for your patience and support, this update is important for our continuous development.

We’re still working with our partners to integrate the global merchant offering and expect to have more updates by mid next week. Turkey is almost ready to go live, once we push the Turkish merchants we’ll make the official announcement.

South East Asia
Merchant expansion continues, we’re in contact with a potential partner to add merchants for South East Asia; Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia etc. We’ll update on the progress.

Other partnerships
We’ve started discussions with a publicly listed company which expressed interest in adding RMT to their investment product offering/investment bundles. More details are provided when we’re able to do so.

MARKETING

WeGift integration is now complete! We’re finalizing last administrative processes and will push the UK merchants first, shortly followed by the other countries. We aim to have the UK merchants available by mid next week and will announce the in-app availability. Our Turkish partner has developed an API for us, both our tech teams are working on API amendments and are making solid progress. Coming week we aim to commence with testing.
More good news! We’ve reached an agreement with one of our partners in offering their global voucher portfolio; totaling 868 merchants and continuously growing. We will start on integrating that portfolio now and announcements are made accordingly.

Our merchant network is growing rapidly and exponentially. Once all current merchant integration is complete, we’ll update the overview of our global merchant coverage, list the available merchants per country and post it on our website and social media.

SureRemit App updates
As mentioned last week, the setup of the new payment gateway provider is finalized and now we’ve also fixed the bugs in the newly created UI. Security is of utmost importance, therefore we are currently building a more extensive security protocol to prevent any potential card fraud. This delays the update for in-app RMT purchasing, we deemed it necessary to have this built before release of the update. We also need this security protocol in place to have Busha integration, more updates on Busha will follow once we have finalized the above and current merchant integration. Rest assured, our tech team is working diligently building these essential platform fundamentals.

EXCHANGES

In our previous updates we’ve clarified how we view exchange listings under current market conditions and processes. We’re in finalizing talks with a new exchange (additional exchange to last week’s exchange update) that has solid focus on Europe and meets compliance and regulatory requirements, they also offer good fiat pairings. When an agreement is reached, we’ll announce.

UK merchants are now live!
Other markets will follow shortly. We’ve worked with our Turkish partner integrating the API and testing commences early next week, once the testing goes smoothly, the Turkish merchants go live. Development continues with our partner for the global merchant offering, adding at least 868 new merchants to the SureRemit platform. As we’re already working through one of their API’s, integration should be straight forward. We’ll update on the progress.

It was quite the challenge, but all the dev work for the SureRemit App update is complete, integration new payment gateway & UI creation, top notch security protocols, these crucial fundamentals are now in place. We’re doing some final testing and the results are positive so far, we expect to push the update latest coming Monday.

From the Team
Q1 is almost over and what a quarter it was! Excellent progress, some delays and everything in between. Merchant expansion activities exploded, we’ve signed with many new partners, adding approx. 1500 new merchants globally. Our partnership with Streetlib is a great step forward and of course the solid Busha progress. Some of our roadmap targets are not fully finalized, others were pulled forward, all in all we’re pleased with the progress and how the pieces of the puzzle are falling into place. We’re looking forward to Q2!

Deploy live integration with Partner Exchange Busha
Busha is now live, up and running. They made excellent progress and faced challenges, they persevered and solved all. Busha development was/is crucial to integrate our systems with theirs, developments on both sides caused some delays. Delays are unpleasant and unfortunate, but are also unavoidable if you want to reach excellence. Both our tech teams will have more time available now to continue the work on SureRemit backend integration.

Exchange Listing 2
In the past weekly updates we have expressed our views on Exchange listing procedures and requirements. We have applied for a listing at a top 5 Exchange and we’re looking forward working together if an agreement is reached. Additionally, we are in the final stage of listing with a new European exchange offering excellent fiat pairing and they also meet the current/upcoming compliance requirements. The exchange will launch end of April and expects to be Stellar ready in May.

Merchandise store
We’ve put the merchandise store temporarily on hold as our energy and focus is needed on business development. The store will become available in approx. 2 months.

What is the fee for purchasing gift cards on your application? Also, I see that you allow Debit and Credit card payments in the application. What sorts of cards are accepted in terms of Visa, Master, Amex etc. Also put in some light on the fees charged by card companies.

Thank you for your approval. Definitely, the project is aiming for the stars. We have signed multiple partnerships with some of the biggest players in the prepaid instrument space. The partnerships are in the advanced stage of execution and will be available on our app in some time.

We are planning out our advertisement campaign for the crypto as well as non-crypto remitting audience and will soon go full throttle on it once the major partnerships go live. Feel free to drop me a DM if you think that your skill-sets can be of any help to us.

Over the past week, there has been a lot of positive developments. A major milestone for the team is SureRemit going live in India (details here). Also, the StreetLib partnership was announced officially and Stellar/XLM was listed on Coinbase. We’re very pleased with all these developments and we can assure you that more are underway. We’ll keep pursuing new partnerships, more global merchants, and functional tech updates. We will not relent in accomplishing everything we have set out to do.

On March 7th 2019, leading rewards, loyalty and gifting company, SureGifts (a sister company of SureRemit and subsidiary of SureGroup) put together The Human Resources Workshop created for corporate personnel and HR managers across Nigeria. SureRemit App Updates

The setup of the new payment gateway provider has been finalized but we encountered bugs in the API user interface. Due to this, we had to create our own UI, which is causing a delay in pushing the in-app funding/RMT purchasing with Debit/Credit card update. Our tech team will be working through the weekend to finalize the UI and we’ll push the update as soon as it is ready. Completion of WeGift integration will commence right after, as will the API integration of our Turkish partner for the Turkish merchants.

EXCHANGES

We have finalized and filed a listing request to a top exchange and are awaiting their response. As this is all under an NDA, we cannot provide more details. Talks with other exchanges continue.

StreetLib, the Italy-based digital books distributor has put pen to paper and signed a partnership agreement with SureRemit.

We made this partnership agreement public in one of the weekly update articles.

The official announcement was issued via a press release earlier today. This is wonderful news to the SureRemit community.

Now, authors and publishers on StreetLib can get paid instantly in RMT, which is added to their in-app wallet. Also, StreetLib vouchers will be made available on the SureRemit app for book purchases from the StreetLib store.

NEW MERCHANTS/MARKETS

Both our partners for India are ready to go live, the administrative issues are resolved and we’ll receive the live API keys shortly. Once received, the vouchers will be available on the platform by next week. The integration of the WeGift voucher portfolio is now finalized and the vouchers will also become available next week. We’re now working on integrating the vouchers for the Turkish market.

Partnership with Streetlib.com

Great news! We’re partnering up with Streetlib. StreetLib is a global publishing facilitator and digital books gateway distributor based in Italy with operational bases in the USA, India and West Africa.
StreetLib manages over 250,000 titles of publishers and authors around the world, acting as a gateway distributor to deliver digital books (ebooks currently, audio later this year) to anywhere in the world, from anywhere in the world.

Streetlib will use the SureRemit platform to sell their (to be created) Streetlib vouchers through which all their services can be purchased. As Streetlib is expanding in the emerging markets, payments to their users (e.g. royalties) can be problematic and high in transfer fees. To solve this, Streetlib users will have the option to receive their royalty payouts and other payments in RMT. The RMT is purchased by Streetlib on an exchange (e.g. SDEX) and then transferred to the user‘s SureRemit in-app account allowing the user to spend RMT on vouchers. The cooperation between SureRemit and Streetlib is unique and establishes another great use case of the SureRemit platform in addition to non-cash remittances.

The official announcement of this partnership will take place during the London Book Fair, holding on the 12th–14th March 2019.

SureRemit App updates
We’re finalizing the set up of the new payment gateway provider, this requires more time therefore delaying the in-app funding/RMT purchasing with Credit/Debit card. We expect the payment provider to finalize the set up on their end by next week. We will then push the update.

Busha
Busha is live and crypto purchases (mostly BTC and ETH) are increasing rapidly, heavy traders are on board and Busha has exceeded the $1 million milestone since launch. API’s are currently being developed.
SureRemit and Busha teams continue to work on the backend solution, we’ll update on the progress in the coming weeks. Their marketing efforts will intensify next week.

EXCHANGES
We’re going over our options in selecting exchanges that meet our strategic goals, including a focus on exchanges that meet current (and expected) compliance and regulatory legislation. Seen the current developments in the crypto landscape we have become more critical on the performance of exchanges and the influence they have on the (price) development of SureRemit.



NEW MERCHANTS/MARKETS
Launching the India vouchers experienced a delay due to a different coding in staging/testing environment and live environment on our partner’s side. We’re amending the code now and will push the vouchers, aiming to do so today/tomorrow. This delay also affected the WeGift integration, but their live environment will be easier to integrate and will happen once India is finalized. The newly created API for the Turkey vouchers is almost ready and testing will commence in the coming week.

Partnership with Streetlib.com
During the past week, we’ve been working with StreetLib to prepare RMT royalty payments for their users. They will announce the cooperation during the London Book Fair (12–14 March). Now we’ll work on creating StreetLib vouchers to be added to the SureRemit platform.

EXCHANGES
Listing with more exchanges is an integral part of crypto and we’re in contact with a few exchanges for short term and long term listings. We understand the eagerness to list with the well-known exchanges and appreciate the added value that they could have regarding RMT token price development. This is not a simple process, a lot has to be considered. Listings can be quite costly; listing fees or other listing related costs and there really is no guaranteed success. Some exchanges have severe requirements and, when they are not met, could actually do more harm than good. Our goal is to work with exchanges that add value to SureRemit’s continuous development and are prepared for inevitable, upcoming regulation/legislation. Ultimately, the adoption of our services by users worldwide will have a solid sustainable impact on RMT price development. Our challenge is to combine the desires of the crypto landscape with our development.

This project seems big but why is it not getting attention from the community here. A lot of partnerships already tells something for the project. Maybe run advertising campaigns so people will know more about this project.

NEW MERCHANTS/MARKETS

As mentioned in our last update, the vouchers for India are ready to go live. All that remains is the settlement of the payments which are delayed at the corresponding bank, hopefully this will be sorted after the weekend.

Once India is live, Turkey and WeGift are next. In addition to this significant increase of global merchants, we’re discussing with a leading global merchant of construction materials/services regarding a potential cooperation in using our non-cash remittance platform to offer purposeful remittances; vouchers for purchasing building materials/affordable housing. Still in early development, but we’re quite excited by the possibility to work with them as this cooperation can be effective and helpful to a large (global) population. We’ll update the community as we make progress.

VESTING

We have decided to extend the vesting of the wallet containing the 350 million RMT tokens aka ‘Company Tokens’: Click here

The vesting period is extended for 6 months and will be subject to review when the vesting period has ended. By doing this the circulating supply is temporarily limited to 650 million RMT tokens instead of the maximum supply of 1 billion RMT tokens.

SureRemit App Updates

We made solid progress this week regarding the App/Tech development:

1. Improved security:
Introducing local authentication with bio-metrics like Face ID and Touch ID on supported phones when opening the app.

2. Payment provider:

We switched to a new payment provider for direct RMT purchases with your Credit/Debit card, this will be made available again early next week and we’ll also be gradually rolling out direct funding of RMT for the in-app wallet.

3. Various Performance Improvements and bug fixes

The update for iOS was pushed yesterday and early next week we’ll push another iOS update for in-app Direct Funding of RMT. Another Android update will be pushed today.

NEW MERCHANTS/MARKETS

The vouchers for India should become available during the coming week. Administrative processes (payment confirmations etc.) are still pending.

VESTING

We’re looking into the option to extend the vesting period of various wallets e.g. the wallet containing the ‘Company’ tokens (350 million). We’ll provide a more comprehensive update regarding the extended vesting by next week.

TECH

SureRemit App updates

We’ve updated the SureRemit app: added PIN lock, fixed bug specific to some phones, fixed storage issue and quality of uploading KYC documents, UI improvements. The update for Android is pushed today and iOS follows coming Monday. We’re also changing our current in-app payment gateway, when finalized, the in-app purchasing of RMT/stocking up will become available.
